It was me being a smartass in my own way. Korts wanted me to vote someone, as I didn't see anyone who had done anything particularly scummy, I voted for him, so it could also be interpretted as a OMGUS vote.

Okay, now, do you really think tubby was trying to out some power roles? He has 110 game posts; he's pretty much a newbie. Now I know, when I was first scum, I didn't do anything except try to look pro-town. Do you really think tubby is capable of doing some elaborate scum scheme like that? Even if he was scum, I doubt that he had malicious motives there. Do you think he did have some, or are you just the Supreme Judge of mafia; kill everyone that doesn't act the way they're supposed to in order to send a message?

Finished my reread, and here's some of my findings so far:

Tubby: I don't like him following first Korts (post 18), the Crazy (post 47) and then Farside (76). I also don't like post 76 at all, it's the reason I voted him in the first place. After that not much that made him more or less scummy.

Korts: He started the whole thing that led hiim to vote Tubby, but with more generalising words. (posts 13 and 19). Then in post 144 he turns around completely, with him suddenly only having voted Tubby to see where it got the game.

Finally, I'm going to

Unvote Tubby, vote DrippingGoofBall

Main reasons are him voting Animorpherv for the same thing Vi did first, and less conspicuous (the first single word responses that lasted until post 51) DrippingGoofBall has been asked several times to why Animorpher and not Vi, but hasn't really responded to that, but made it clear he stands by the reasoning for his vote.

I see Tubby's as newb who I have yet to feel either scum or town. I know newbs make errors and some he is making is scummy. However for someone to complain about the lack of anything going on and saying nothing at all is someone I feel isn't paying attention and trying to look like they are participating which is extra super scummy in my book.

His statement: "The vote count correlates specifically to PR's - the people that have more votes have PR's so they are forced to play" isn't just bad, but scummy, because any discussion of it (as I've said before) would be potentially outing PR's.

Also, of course, outing the PR's doesn't do anything to discuss

I know you explained how there's scum motivation before. My point is, there's also motivation for town, especially newb town, considering the town doesn't have any information to start with, and newb townies in particular tend to grab at every piece of information they can get.

In addition, given tubby's claim of never playing so seriously before, I'm having doubts as to whether he'd think such a scum gambit through in his first post.

Ah. Yes the newbie card. I don't care for it. I do think newb's make error's but both as town and scum they use that as their reason. Anyone who defends a player that did something scummy always rings a bell of suspicion.
I am more interested in the internet for the reason's I stated however.

My only proof is that he considered himself confident enough in tubby's guilt, even though discussion hadn't been about any other player, to lynch him. Although I do give him slight town points for not OMGUSing me when I turned on him.

Because I didn't really believe in the wagon to start with. I jumped on a newbie making a fairly obvious mistake and tried to push it as hard as I could to see who would follow in my wake.

If he had said "no, of course not", it would've been strange because there's no implication who DGB meant. I don't think that's a very good point at all.

Also to assume anything from anyone is basically in the word there. ass/u/me. So yay no big deal. I'm more fasinated with how behind the game DGB is. I feel like say a day late and a dollar short on what she is saying.
