Dybeck is implying that Malt's result doesn't specifically state that the result he has is from HP. Thus the only reason I personally can see for dybeck to make this distinction is to present the possibility that the result is true but that HP was switched with someone and is thus not the target of Malt.

Its a great way to clear both of them, albeit, complete hogwash.

IF said Bus Driver was not scum, they would have already come out and said so. While a town player using Bus Driver on a cop is prob not a bad idea, they should have said so by now. The ONLY possibility of this would have been dybeck himself. As I said before, since Dybeck was allowed back into the game this means he couldn't have possibly have any information that he gained from his previous role that will effect him in this role. IF he is stating that he does, he is either lying or Tar made a huge error.

IF said Bus Driver was scum, then HP would be dead. The Bus Driver ability is effectively an anti-Doctor/Protector ability when in the hands of scum. Simply choose who you want to kill, have the Bus Driver switch that person with someone else, and kill the someone else. Any protects that would be going to your real target will instead go to the Bus Driver's target while the Real target takes the kill shot to the head. Since HP is not dead, its pretty obvious this wasn't a scum ability.

Not worth considering given the info we had. If we had some other reason to think so (ie multiple guilties, 0 innocents) its worth it, but not off 1 guilty.

"This is ISN, Interstellar Network News, bringing you the latest news about the strange plan that has resulted in the temporary quarantine of the Babylon 5 space station. We turn now to our correspondent, ooba, for the latest. Ooba?"

"Thank you. It is the second day of the Babylon 5 crisis, and the killings continue unabated. EarthForce personnel are mourning the loss of Alfred Bester, the head of the Psi Corps, who had been sent to the station for national security reasons at the time of the crisis. The station personnel foolishly concluded that he was probably a member of the mysterious infiltrators terrorizing the station and elected to execute him. Their investigation revealed what we knew all along: Alfred Bester was a virtuous man working to protect EarthForce and humanity. He was a patriot, a wise man looked up to by those beneath him. He will be missed.

Babylon 5 personnel have also informed us that Susan Ivanova, the second-in-command of Babylon 5, has been slain during the current difficulties. She was a military maverick, a bit deluded and rumored to support alien agendas more than her own homeworld, but she is still a member of EarthForce and she will be missed.

ISN News has learned that Lyta Alexander, a former telepath in the Psi Corps who disappeared several years ago after some sort of encounter with a Vorlon, was found dead on the station this morning. She had been secretly given sanctuary on the station to allow her to avoid reporting back to the Corps and was reported to be trying to protect the station from an alien menace at the time of her death. An investigation into her presence on the station and her true motives is ongoing.

Finally, Narn diplomatic staff again had a reason to mourn, as G'Kar, the Narn ambassador to Babylon 5, was found dead in his quarters this morning. A preliminary investigation found that he was loyal to Babylon 5 and in no way associated with the plot to destroy the station... but could a full investigation reveal otherwise? Time will tell.
