It doesn't look like anyone else is actually agreeing with Battle Mage's plan, but if it actually gets used you can count on me abandoning this game. I'm not playing a game where people purposely break the rules to win. That ruins the entire fun of mafia.

I think you guys missed the post where the mod prevented that from actually happening.

That's what I meant, I just didn't word that correctly. If oEJo was town, he should have known Santos was too since the wording of the win condition should have been exact.

And yeah, I see now why leaving him alive would be a bad idea. I was overestimating how much the opposing scum teams would want to kill each other off.

Is BM trying to play this like Stump Mafia?

BM: The problem is that if oEJo is town and gets himself modkilled, he WON'T BE TOWN ANYMORE. By "being protown" by posting his PM, he will forfeit his invested interest in wanting the town to win.

Furthermore, you're assuming that bird would continue to keep day running after the second modkill. There's nothing keeping him from ending day once he performs his second modkill.

And ribwich: we might as well try to lynch oEJo anyways. If the opposing mafia wants to kill him THAT badly, they could do so if the lynch fails due to improper weaponry.

Needless to say i agree with Armlx regarding your second sentence. As far as the first goes, it's kind of irrelevant. If OeJo is scum, why would my behaviour be a defence of him, when, if he was my buddy, it'd be the final nail in the coffin?

BTW, in case it wasn't clear, BM's behavior has been strongly pro-town with respect to this issue. However, pro-town != maintaining game integrity always, which is my issue.
