Odd night/even night cops weakens the role significantly, because until they claim they might not trust each other and investigate the same players. It's a good mechanic for a game and a good thing for balancing.

Will come back to analyse the game later, as I'm not really in the mood right now. But I think I've settled on deciding to believe all the claims and results for now.

Yeah I already said right at the start of the day that I'm not advocating a rush to vote off an even-night cop claim day 4.

And Owen's reaction to MT is pretty much the reaction I would actually expect from a cop claim. He would've had to plan this in advance from well before the time Mala claimed, given he might be the only guy who wanted to murder MT as hard as I did.

if all claims are true, there are two or three more scum in {Vivax, Greeting, Firebringer, geraintm, Prince of Paterson, Crescent}. I can see Vivax/gerain/PoP being scum here. Maybe Greeting. Though I think the answer is as simple as there's a fakeclaim between Mala and Owen — and if one flips scum, the person they "checked" can also be scum. My theory is Mala and Enchant. I haven't ruled out that I've been pocketed and I'll watch out for that in my reread, but I won't have time to deepdive until five days for now because work.

Yes, it's mafia favoured under these circumstances imo.
I have seen many games go to hell because of massclaiming, but mostly those with a lot of Vanillas/mountainous town.

As well as being a N3 cop, I also have a bit of information about the game that's probably useless except in a mass claim context, where it could

be useful. But I can't promise it would come to anything even then.

And my paranoia about Crescent is firing up. That would make Lowell town for example. If that's the case, it's a town doctor, which keeps Owen alive and probably kills me on the next night.

Enchant, Crescent, Prince perhaps? Unsure on Firebringer.

Crescent said that seeing Andante getting tunneled triggered her, which is unusual if you don't know that the reasons are bad. That points at Crescent having TMI and being mafia, actually. Andante having flipped town helps with that, though it wasn't too surprising as a pick.
