Last thing to consider: if I really can't kill due to being disarmed, lynching scum gives the game to town. If my kill had been role-blocked each night by scum, then town has lost from the moment the day started. Lynching me is guaranteed to hit anti-town, but you lose. Lynching the scum, you will win because I can't force an endgame,

Anyways, here's one of Tuberkulos's posts near the beginning, where he listed his suspicions.

- Ramus. Haven't really got a good look of him yet. He definitely can't count.

Also, I doubt Pesco is scum because of Tuberkulos's extreme "hatred" or her yesterday. Ramus, what do you think of that?

By questionnaire, I mean a series of questions you ask both of us and you decide who's scum based on that.

In summary, some reads (not everyone, just those that stand out):

Tuberkulos

- about as solidly scum in my eyes as you can get at this early stage of the game. Which isn't huge, mind, but it's definitely there.

- Seems fairly town.

Mariyta

- Didn't like the way she handled her vote on Tuber one bit. They've been at each other's throats quite a bit; distancing, maybe?

- I wish he'd post more often; he's coming off a little active-lurkish at the moment.

- Seeming pretty townish at the moment. I agreed with his early moves, and so far his logic has been pretty sound. I do wish he'd post more, though.

- Ewwwwwww. "lol guise i didant actually red teh thred lolol AH HA YOU FELL INTO MY CUNNING TRAP" does not sit well with me. At all.

I apparently didn't stand out early in the game. I dunno, I tried to be out in the open, but meh.

I thought Pesco was a guy. Anyway, how do you know that extreme "hatred" wasn't a set up? As far as I'm concerned, this game so far seems like a series of set ups by Pesco and buds.

Hmm... I'm getting really paranoid about this game now (like, I'm really afraid of voting someone).

Okay, this is why I'm having a hard time:
I'm afraid to vote Pesco because Ramus might be scum and Pesco might be telling the truth.
I'm afraid to vote Ramus because he might be town and Pesco can still kill someone.
I'm currently leaning towards Ramus, it's just the only thing that bothers me is that there's a very small possibility that CoCam's action was during the day, and he managed to steal from Pesco. So, I'm fairly sure that the town has lost both ways.
I promise I'll make a vote either today or tomorrow, I want to take another look at Tuberkulo's posts.

Well at this point, it's pretty obvious the town is going to lose. I'm not sure what I ever did to be scummy and you guys never bothered to answer that.

Ramus, I've only been holding back out of personal bias. There's been no effort at all to present a believable case to get the heat off yourself. I'd like to think you can do better than that. But let's get the game going

Sekinj and Andersonw looked at each other, afraid and confused. They have long been used to the terrors of the Nobles mandates, but they also knew of the savagery of the Goblins. Eventually, after hearing Pesco's claims that he lost his weapon to the kobold thief over and over, they decided to gang on Ramus.

Ramus' body hadn't even started to rot, the dwarves headed to their rooms. Pesco, not having a room, headed to Sekinj's one.

Sekinj cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Goblin Warlord

"Wait! What are you doing here? Didn't you say that you had no nightkill?"

Sekinj, Siege Engineer, has been struck down!

The goblin grinned at the battered corpse of the dwarf, and headed towards andersonw's room. No one was there. Pesco started running towards the exit of the fortress, and surely enough, he could hear the steps of the last dwarf echoing from the corridor to the surface.

Andersonw thought that he had a good enough headstart on the goblin to ensure his survival. What he didn't count on, however, was with how harsh the effects of years of cave adaptation could be. Upon reaching the surface, Andersonw was overtaken by vertigo upon seeing the endless sky, and blindness from the brightness of sunlight. As he was struggling to recover from that, a sharp pain on his abdomen told him that the goblin had caught up.

The pain made the dwarf wake up, but it was too late. He could feel, as he tried to run, the blood flowing freely out of his wound...

Andersonw, Mason, has bled to death.

The goblin looked upon the last dwarf's corpse. The work was done. Time to regroup the troops, and move on to the next settlement.

The Settlement of Oslanvathez has withered.

Sorry townies, there's no way I'd have known that Ramus was blocking me every night. Adding the fact that the game was decided once LyLo was reached. Good game and big ups to the mod for my role.

I figured Pesco was the way to go, because we had no real confirmation of a 3rd party player. I have no regrets for dying, I actually figured I'd get NK'd for calling that fakeclaim out though.

I'm interested in seeing what all the roles really were supposed to be though.

Quick listing of the roles:

Miner - Bomb - kill one player and himself in the proccess (magma/cave-in)
Animal Handler - Watcher - could set an animal to "watch" a player at night.
Mason - One-way mason. - meta-pun.
Kobold thief - Would remove powers from players. Removed Jailkeeping, Hammering, SK nightkill, Watching and Bombing abilities.

Townies - two cooks was an idea I took from Dead Rikimaru's "Nightstalkers" game - in that game, there were two pro-town players with repeated power roles (and one scum with the same fake claim). I found that to be a nice twist. The two cook role PMs were completely different (each vanilla townie PM was completely different from each other).

Noble Scum - Two nobles. A hammerer (could vote secretly if L-1. Must not be voting anyone to vote secretly) and a jailkeeper (captain of the guard, has jail keys). Killing was a group action, so the Captain of the guard could jail (not roleblock - they jailed andersonw on night 1, so the SK kill failed there) and kill by himself. - I decided to do this because of the reduced number of scum.

NK immune. Would win 1-1 ties if he was on the same "power level" as the remaining scum (stolen SK defeats stolen scum - stolen SK loses to non-stolen scum).

Way to play Pesco. I knew you had an NK of some kind, somehow, but I expected SK. I'm disappointed people actually wanted to ally with the 'SK'.

1. The town was gullible and didn't kill Pesco right off the bat.

2. Tuber decided to use the ace card way too soon.

It was so frustrating reading this and seeing how easily you all were playing into Pesco's hands. If I was in the game I doubt he would have got away with what he did. After a re-read, I almost never stopped cringing until this bitter finale.
