I was under the impression that high risk/high reward would be four people touching it.
Nope, it states that that's lower risk because whatever effect occurs is split between the four players. And what about people who want to touch it on their lonesome? The people voting for one, qwints?

Bleh, the deadline is surprisingly close, and the discussion has been based around object votes so I can't tell who's scummy.

I'll read through the thread to see what I can find...

@mod: Must the objekt necessarily be touched at deadline, or can it happen sooner if an option on how many people go for it is chosen ahead of time?

Title: This game is confusing
Cruciare wrote:You need to be lynched for many many reasons. Vote: Scattered
Still not a fan of this vote, where his reasons aren't explained immediately, especially in combination with his hard-lined stance.
Cruciare wrote:My opinion as of now is that you're lying, but I could be wrong.
"I could be wrong" again is a bit amiss in comparison with his stance.
melikefood wrote:So, I'm thinking if Skatterd's role klaim is true, then it was put in to konfuse us.

If he's lying, then I'm thinking that he wants targeting immunity, which is WIFOM'y.
Not sure what you mean when you say it was put in to confuse us. Could you clarify?

Overall, the post feels a little off, where you speculate both sides but don't give an opinion.
melikefood wrote: I'm here, not much to say.

Thinking that Skattered could've waited a bit longer, but I'm not completely sure as to how his power is triggered
Again seems timid and post is fluff, which may be ok / newb tell, but I checked mlf's other game, and he seemed more assertive.
Cruciare wrote:Or do you honestly not understand where I'm coming from?
I've found that scum tend (e.g. when I play scum) to include these subtle jabs to open up possibilities of finding someone scummy, rather than accusing them outright.

In conclusion:

Prod pickemgenius

I'm leaning scum on Cruciare atm.

A couple of posts that seem off/inconsistent.

Who does everyone think is scummy?

Wow.....you can tell a game is crazy when you see a typo and you automatically assume that it's a secret subtwist and not just a simple typo. Any other game I would have assumed typo but this ones wacky and I love it.

And I'm too lazy to go find who posted it but whoever said that four people touching is bad because there might be a scum touching? Isn't that what we want? I feel like in a total unknown situation like this the best array of people is a total mix - pro-town, anti-town, power role, boring role......Does nobody else agree that an ultimate mixture is the safest and best play?

Yes, you're right on this one - I should've explained my reasons immediately. I didn't because A) It was 12:17 am in my time zone & I was about to sleep, and B) There were - as I said - many many reasons.

Cruciare wrote:My opinion as of now is that you're lying, but I could be wrong.
"I could be wrong" again is a bit amiss in comparison with his stance.

This is where you don't quite understand me. I thought that he was lying, but even if he wasn't, I still wanted him dead by the end of D1. A role like his is destined to die at some point anyway, so I would certainly not have liked him to be alive any longer than he needed to be. See the rest of #38 for more details. I was willing to let him use his claimed suicide kill instead being lynched, but of course, even if he said that he'd use it on a "suitable town agreed target", as evident in what actually happened, his stab-in-the-dark kill could very well misfire, which is why I would rather have had him lynched. Don't get me wrong, this is only the "if he isn't lying" side of my logic. I really did believe that he was, but I don't exactly have the authority to say "he was 100% positively definitely lying". At the time, the pros of lynching him far outweighed the cons (if there were even any). My stance of him lying may not have been absolute, but my stance of wanting him to die before the end of D1 definitely was.

Cruciare wrote:Or do you honestly not understand where I'm coming from?

I asked this because I was honestly surprised when you asked me how I expected to determine the usefulness of players. Wasn't it obvious? I wanted to know whether your question was some half-thought-out attempt at pinning scumminess on me, or whether you actually did not know the answer to that question. It was nothing to do with accusing you.
Also, since some people seem to be saying one thing and voting another, might I remind everyone --
Option A: 4 Players
Option B: 2 Players
Option C: 1 Player
Option D: Destroy Objekt

unvote vote option c

Cruciare's response seems reasonable.

I think a lynch is definitely important in this set-up, as opposed to a no-lynch. From what I see, the kills aren't revealed until the device is activated, so the scum can "stack" kills at their leisure until they face a lynch. Plus we are already losing. So we should definitely lynch somebody.

Actually, I'm not sure about Cruciare. His response, though reasonable, loses cred points for what constitutes a "delayed reaction." It's hard to tell amid all the object speculation.

Unvote, Vote Netlava
. Reasoning plz. This is generally how lynches occur. After you give reasoning, I'll review my vote.

Fail.

But also, have you read the rest of the game? Deadline extensions happen mysteriously when an event occurs. I think the object touching game will lead to another deadline extension. I'm not overworried, and I think you are trying to push us too quickly.
