How would 14/4/4/1/1+(cult) give more variance than 16/3/3/1/1+(cult) ? It's the same amount of nightkills, right?
Oh, I was confusing the 1+. You meant it as the cult, I read it as another SK plus the cult.

Its a matter of proportions then. I seem to remember the math on cults making them essentially another mafia group.

as much as I wanted to see BA hung yesterday, I am not feeling that lynch today. We are not certian there is a 4th member of the Jap mafia. I would rather wait for more confirmation on that before continuing on that lynch. My BA case was 75% based on his interaction with Stef...I would rather focus today on the Greek mafia...though I found sierra's electra post helpful, will be doing my own reread into that.

Seraphim question, did you feel that Tar was scummy yesterday?

I would like to request replacement. I've discovered that I'm not built for large games. I still plan to moderate on the site and play mini's, but the players of this game deserve more, and after basically missing an entire day, I'm pretty much an anchor dragging the game down.

Sorry, and good luck.

Couple interesting points I gathered today while doing a bit of a reread.

In post 411, electra thinks that random votes on someone that is scum is a scum tell. That is why she has Ku_F at medium high because of voting Stef in the random vote stage. I personally don’t think it is a tell, but my point is Electra does. Some people might say it takes scum to know scum. Bob knows Ted is screwing around on his wife, because Ted is acting like Bob when Bob did it. So if you look back to Electra’s random vote you find…
armlx wrote:
Armlx: Are you scum? Please answer with a sentence containing exactly ten words.
I am not not not not not not not scum.
Electra wrote:I'm here and young :D

vote: armlx
for being a liar
I also think it is interesting that out of everyone in the game..Armlx was the only person that Electra had as low (besides ooba).

Don’t know if this is important (vote worthy), but I find it interesting. Trying to look for a link between Electra to anyone…so this is probably a stretch, but I think it is worth remembering for later.

Next…

I want to change my question to seraphim.

Who do you think was scummy yesterday…who do you think is scummy today?

Next..

HC I am disappointed in. You think someone who is modding a game and is looking for a replacement, might be a little more attentive with keeping up to his commitment.

vote Seraphim

Yes, I know, being replaced, blah blah blah, but I went back and re-read the night scene and in it, it indicates that Tar tracked the person who killed sekinj. That coupled with the post I quoted (Tar clearly thought Seraphim was scum and ready to lynch him today) makes him a decent candidate to have been tracked.

All right, let's start to catch up. Time to analyze the game as I read.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE WHOLE GAME AT ONCE

Pages 1-6:
Post 4-5 - ShadowGirl: I don't like diceroll random votes. Too easy to not claim responsibility for actions.
Post 44 - populartajo: What?
Post 60 - Sierra: I don't like this vote for some reason.
Post 62 - GW: Wait, what? I'm pretty sure it's not actually random. Good work at reading.
Post 65 - Cybele: Very, very bad post here. Why should he keep his vote on if it's not doing any good?
Post 66 - skitzer: Bad defense. "Random stage" should never be an acceptable defense
Post 69 - CKD: Link? I'd agree with it being a terrible attack though
Post 72 - skitzer: Why are you defending someone else's actions this early? Especially when she hasn't answered your question.
Post 74 - EA: Do you seriously call that a defense?
Post 76 - Jebus: Why ooba?
Post 79 - armlx: good post
Post 80 - Sierra: That's all you have to say? Really?
Post 81 - Ku_F: What a terrible, terrible reason for a vote. If scum used it previously, why shouldn't he vote someone for doing it?
Post 83 - populartajo: Discuss. Let's lynch you immediately. This early of a vanilla claim deserves to be lynched just as much as a claim of scum at any point.
Post 85 - Cybele: "Random stage"/joke post should never be used as an excuse, especially when you can't tell it was a joke
Post 88 - Empking: What?
Post 89 - massive: And yet you're not doing anything to move it out of that.
Post 90 - tajo: This is far, far too strong of a reaction to what he said, especially when you're not giving reasons for it.
Post 93 - Stef: ... Seriously?
Post 98 - ShadowGirl: Defending Stef before he responds, eh? Interesting.
Post 101 - skitzer: Defending the "random stage"? Sure it may be fun/promote discussion/whatever, but it still needs to be gotten out of ASAP.
Post 103 - skitzer: Things shouldn't be taken seriously on page 4? I'd say that's plenty early enough to be serious.
Post 104 - massive: And yet you're still not making any comments on the game.
Post 105 - sekinj: Gah, then help us leave the random stage. Don't just make inane comments about it.
Post 114 - ShadowGirl: This has nothing to do with anything. Why make this post?
Post 115 - tajo: um, what?
Post 117 - tajo: Notice the It doesn't matter.
Post 122 - Rush: You haven't done anything to help, though.
Post 124 - Stef: Ok, I am now happy lynching you without any further discussion.
Post 128 - Sierra: I don't like this post. "usually" bad play to claim vanilla this early? Not participating in "random stage" is scummy? I don't like this at all.
Post 136 - tajo: Following Tar. Interesting.
Post 140 - tajo: So he's a newbie and can't be scum? wow. Why aren't you lynched yet?
Post 148 - tajo: I don't like page arguments. If you find a strong scumtell on page one, you should lynch someone early. You don't need 30 page days all the time.

Scummy player thoughts as of the end of page 6:
tajo - I don't think I've seen a good post from him all game
Stef - he claimed scum. he needs to be lynched, even if it was "a joke"
Sierra - not good arguments and some completely terrible posts
ShadowGirl - something seems off. The diceroll vote, defending stef before he responded, useless posts.

Then there are players who are just being completely useless. Not really any thoughts on them yet.
Anyway, that's pages 1-6. More coming soon.

But it's only a random vote? I could very well just use any other reason to vote someone - but there's no bearing upon it.
Post 98 - ShadowGirl: Defending Stef before he responds, eh? Interesting.
How am I defending him? It was clearly a non serious vote.
Post 114 - ShadowGirl: This has nothing to do with anything. Why make this post?
Because I can. It was still random stage voting/discussion.

Has, I just hope you realize two of the people who you think to be scummy have been lynched already.

1. Read a day/night scene from any other DR game.

2. You are assuming the mod, an impartial third party, is not acting as such in a non-theme game.

Fair enough. I've seen games where the flavor can give clues, but I've looked at another one of his games, and I believe the meta.
