I've always found it odd that people wouldn't vote for who they think is the scummiest, just whoever has the best chance of being lynched? Come ON!
Sometimes, to avoid a no-lynch situation, especially on Day 1, it's pro-town to lynch someone other than your top choice. Please show me how it's not.

So do you'd rather stick with a useless vote until deadline than go to the next person down your list in order to reach a consensus? Is that a passionately held (and wrongheaded) belief, or did you just now adopt it because I listed you as my number 2 lynch choice and you did the math with the other players?

I'm starting to get torn here - I really think that Timeater is scum, but I'm extremely reluctant to lynch an inactive player (since said inactive player will not have a chance to claim). That said, there is also a possibility that Timeater is actively lurking...

Mod: Has Timeater picked up his prod?

In addition, as of right now I would prefer that we wait until tomorrow to deal with KingEnigma - I don't know enough to be certain about lynching him just yet.

I need to reread players not named KingEnigma or Timeater to see if there are any other good candidates if we don't lynch Timeater today.

QFT. This is why, with the deadline looming, we need to identify where everyone stands. Timeater has not posted anywhere, and he's in another active game where his last post was prior to his last post here. I don't think he's lurking, he most likely has RL issues.

No, I usually stick with who I think is scum, until I'm way certain that someone else is. This is hard to do.

I just think its suspect to say something like "Well, this isnt going anywhere, so everyone here is someone else we can lynch!"
So a nun, the easter bunny, and a blonde walk into a bar. The bartender says "What is this, a joke?

Please do, I'd be interested to see what you find. I think I tend to lurk heaps more on day one and only really start to get/feel involved in the later days which is probably a fault in my playstyle I should work on.
I agree that Day 1 kind of sucks, but it's a necessary evil for getting to the later, more interesting days. People who complain about Day 1 without contributing much are the ones who make sure that it drags on, and then it sucks even worse.
Yeah, I guess you're right. Sometimes I wish that we go lynch someone randomly early and go into the second day phase but I know that it wouldn't work.

Well timeeater's thing with the self vote is the only thing so far that has struck me as a bit scummy, so I'll vote for him I guess if needed.

My no lynch thing was a failed conversation starter, I addressed it to Iam to be faux-conspiratorial and see who'd ask about it... Fark asking is townish. And we can't possibly lynch my fanboy, veneration of Elmo is pro-town. I'm in a foul mood, can we kill people yet? Somebody get me a good wagon. (Vote stays for no apparent reason.)

Look, I think timeater is the lynch whether he's active or not. I honestly think it would not be conducive to try to switch bandwagons with only four days left. I'm also pretty sure that tim is scum.

Side note: I'm having to check on a few things. As I currently understand things, I will not be joining a deadline KingEnigma wagon unless it is absolutely necessary to ensure a lynch.

If Timeater is truly inactive and we can't get a deadline extension, then the only other player I would actually be willing to vote for at this time is MacavityLock.

Oh good, a vig target presents itself assuming there is a vig.

If you are town, you have no reason to be so recaltricient with information. I'm half tempted to vote you now but I'd rather see a lynch rather than have to try to convince everyone to switch to you and jeopardize that deadline lynch.

Mod, what are the chances of a deadline extenson?
It's been nearly a week since Timeater has been on the site, and since he's our top lynch candidate at the moment, this kind of throws a monkey wrench into the works.

More later.

Because the OMGUS shield is a guard against suspicion for genuinely scummy behavior since WHEN?

No, I think it's quite scummy. I ALWAYS call out people who can't be bothered to give a reason for doing anything. It's just I also doubt I'll get the support I need for it in time. If we DO get a deadline extension, I'm switching to you.
