ok fiiiiiine, i'll go into my issues with bugspray a bit more, this game ain't budging otherwise it seems.

bugs and i have played in a lot of games together, and i used to be very accurate at reading them, and very quickly. what i realized in my few recent games, town!bugspray is very quick to vote me in the beginning of the game, and is very quick to call my bullshit out if they sense it. on the other side, scum!bugspray... avoids me like the plague.

so my idea was to play in a purposefully weird/scummy way to see if they would call me out / vote me. and they didn't, they ignored me multiple times, to then say that they "always ignore scumreads on their slot" when prompted for like the third time. they didn't even use the opportunity to build a wagon on me when dwlee voted me and when they apparently started suspecting me

This looks... very blatant and simple. Even although I am not too much a fan of arguments that rely so much on meta. Do you have some games as examples at hand with both of you where they have been scum? (and town too) You two got far too many to search my way through that.

So I’m not saying that Meg looks good by any means but when you compare them both they’re doing the same thing just kind coasting. One just jumped on a wagon. But I mean this early I didn’t mind it cos it was a RVS that turned into a “I don’t mind staying here” but if they continue to not scum hunt then that’ll be a problem.



I just wanted to focus on andante

I get you on this with both basically doing the same. For me it's rather that Meg feels more "calculated" while Andante just lashed out. If Andante continues like that it's indeed a problem though in terms of readability.

My problem with Andantescum is that, considering the wagon, with kenny and me (while I am leaning more on town now I was considering voting Andante on first read) this is the only wagon so far that could have gone through, at least from my point of view. If scum her partner is either really passive or bussed. Bussing aside the only viable partner for Andante would be dwlee, maybe frogs to an extent and I am not really feeling that. Like I get it's preflip, however I tend to get skeptical in such scenarios.

micro 988 - votes me in rvs in post 7, expresses a serious scumread on me in post 8 (i was scum)
micro 962 - votes me in rvs, revotes me and expressed a scumread on me in post 28 (i was in a scum hydra, but they scumread a post that i wrote)
micro 1017 - votes me in post 24, declares the vote as serious (i was scum)

scum bugspray:
micro 932 - ignores me at start of the game, i correctly scumread them on page 5, they said they don't think i'm scum in post 209
micro 951 - they did end up voting me in rvs, but my slot was already an rvs target because my hydra partner is a treasure, they ended up townreading me (post 310)
micro 960 - ignores me at start of the game, townreads me by post 253

now, i know what you're thinking. "but datisi, they always townread you as scum, and here they said they scumread you!!" ok cool, except this game there were other slots that thought i was scum. they also ignored me in the beginning, only declared the scumread once i pulled it out of them, and they still didn't feel like casing me or saying why i was scum or anything - very different to their scumread on me 981 where they said why i was scum ("i'm havign trouble scumreading their slot") and decided to push me on it (and pretty much every other time where they said why i was scum)

The wagon in an Andatescum-scenario could have many reasons.

First her scumpartner could have been on the wagon and relied on the fact that town wants to gain information and doesn't lim too fast on day one. If E-1 happened (other than the vote Andante and vote bugspray in the same post) the other scum could also easily unvote with the argument "not so fast, we need more infos".

Second it could also be, that either you or me is the other scum. Even if a lot of other players read us as town, we could well be good playing scum. Maybe it is even one of the not yet voters waiting for E-1 to hammer Andante to gain towncred (allthough I doubt it. It would only make sense if the other one had any scum extra power).

I know it is very likely just a coincidence. But it strikes me as odd, that Datisi metaed bugspray and bugsprays reaction is him needing a replacement.
