The service rooms is fairly empty, but there are four big vents leading out from here, a generator and and a tool desk. The generator does not appear to be running the present time. It must an emergency back up.

"Similar, really. But also, this place was built on the site of a church. I think if we keep going down we'll find something interesting "

Down you reckon?! I was looking at those big vents and all the climbing gear and thinking they must go up

Is there a way to use the grappling hook/ladder to go up the vents and see what they open onto?

"Yeah, this is in the basement, so them going up makes sense. Curious what the purpose of the vents are though, whether it is just to provide air for this one room. "

Yes. Thats what they are there for. Grab a screwdriver. Open a vent up. Each vent leads to something interesting, and if you dont like what you find, climb back down.

Yeah. I don't recall seeing any vents in places I visited, so let's find out.

All the vents are unscrewed. They seem to be designed to be climbed. What kind of drunk designer thought this was normal

You can place the ladder by any one you want to access initially. And go see where they lead.

Go up ladder. Look into vent 1, don't leave the ladder.

You see that you can reach a primary duct that leads somewhere

while Charlie is investigating vent 1, can I please check the exit door to the hall to see if I can Open it and prop it open with the tripod

You can exit to the hall, but the elevator is not currently on this floor. It will return at the end of the phase
