Okay... but now you know that I had no way to be certain that you could not hide from the shards. So my presented plan was actually a hell of a gamble to make as scum.

I had been told that you could not be sharded by a player that I trusted, and that was the corner stone of the plan.

I was trying really hard to save the town here with the info that I had.

Luke is either not the corruptor, or he gambited and corrupted nobody (which means we don't lose if we vote the non-corruptor scum). I think him being corruptor is very unlikely.

If we eliminate the scum who is not the corruptor today, I believe that we lose unless that elimination was on dragons and manatee becomes a desharder

LLD I think your role was perceived as a bit stronger than it is in balance phase, and town has a lot of towny seeming roles for my ability, which would make Annie's claim less likely

I was visited by the corruptor and given a shard. They are additionally a tracker with the Semi-permanent modifier.

OK let's go over this:

The humans were Luke, Myself, LLD, Dragons. Let's assume all town for a moment.

Of those, Luke is the obvious choice to turn into a demon.
If Manatee and Dragons are town then Dragons is a bad choice, because giving them a shard makes it too efficient to just kill them and have Manatee use their role

That leaves me who gets role information and LLD. We have information that scum would not have known 100% whether LLD's role would block being sharded or not. They likely did not want to risk it.

If you look at the wiki page for hider, it says:

Some moderators cause hiding to apply to things other than kills. This commonly happens defensively; instead of being Bulletproof against direct actions while hiding, the Hider would be treated as a Commuter for direct actions.

I too am scumreading Annie and not put off by the fact that it’s near universal at this point.

Aa9/Luke/manatee

Of the bottom three I don’t think Luke makes sense as the corrupter given his consistent play on the forefront of the game. I feel like the corrupter would be the type to play more under the radar.

Aa9 is at the bottom because a)the way night actions have gone it still makes sense for scum empowering their corrupter n1 and b)omgus

I feel like I agree with Rhea about manatee/Luke having equity but more in a “they’ve consistently tried to kill towns sharder together” way

Dunn is town. That means that none of Medea, LLD, or Spiff can be the Corrupter

Annie - was demonized on night 2. So, if they are the corrupter, their ability had to work regardless of demon status. Scum read.

AA9- was demonized night 1, which lines up with the corruption starting night 2. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Read

Dragons - Still human. Would make them a human corrupter / demon desharder. Which, I like the idea, but it would mean that town had no way to deshard prior to their death, which is :/ . Town Lean

Manatee - Turn demon night 2, so if they are the corrupter, their ability had to work regardless of demon status. Also, they flavor claim feels perfect for the deshard back up. Town read.


So, I guess I want to kill either Annie or AA9. AA9 makes more sense mechanically, but Annie is a stronger scum read.
