I don't like either of these wagons. I would be shocked if wolf comes up doc at the end of the day. With that said, Tony is higher on my list than Darox, so I may as well tie up the voting.

unvote;vote tony

I'm guessing scum would answer yes just to be safe. What's worse is that there may be some other town role that's not from the Neighborhood should happen to say "no" as well. I don't necessarily believe she's telling the truth. I think it's proper strategy to wait through ONE night for a CLAIMED power role when it's not lylo.

Last words of the night:

I do not equate claimed power roles to being proven power roles.

How do you know they missed it? I, for one, found it to be a reach. I know they missed it because they keep asking Darox what his reasons are.

The Neighborhood was chilly this morning, with a despondent fog hanging over the town square, where everyone was gathering.

News of user's brutal murder weighed heavily on folks. Accusations began to fly. Discussions were heated until just past lunch, when those gathered noticed a few people missing. The missing showed up a few hours later.

"Got food on my shirt," said M4yhem.

"Left the stove on," said the pickemgenius.

Approaching dusk more fingers were pointed, more accusations flying, more anger built up as a consensus on Mr Smith's and user's murderers was reached...

An archaic rule of byzantine bureaucracy was uncovered and rushed out to the town square as the sun set. It specifically prohibited lynching people after dark.

**No one has been lynched. Night 2's deadline is 10/8, midnight, east coast time.**

Mrs Smith was awakened just after midnight by a hissing noise. Expecting someone to be coming to kill her, she stayed in bed, waiting to die.

The noise got louder, but no one came. She forced herself out of the bed followed the noise to the bathroom. She flipped on the light and saw water misting from a pipe at the back of the toilet.

She dropped a towel on the puddle of water forming, shuffled to the kitchen, grabbed the phone and called the Tommy's Plumbing emergency number on her fridge.

No answer. Then she heard sirens wailing past the house.

Tommy's on-call person for the night, pickemgenius, had been found brutally beaten to death just minutes earlier.

Everyone gathered at the town square the next morning. Except pickemgenius. And Darox.

Darox was found dead in his living room. His face had been smashed by a glass vase. The damage done would require a closed casket.

pickemgenius, Plumber, Neighbor was killed Night Two.
Darox, Retired Cop, Vanilla Townie was killed Night Two.

8 alive, 5 to lynch. Deadline 10/23, midnight east coast time.

**Deadline corrected per my next post**

I would based on pure numbers. The vigilante - assuming this was the work of a vigilante - has put us at mylo when we could have had a mislynch. Now if we get it wrong, the game is pretty much over.

Thoughts:

- I am not sure if a retired cop is the same as a cop. If so, then we lynch Tony. I tried to follow Darox assuming he had investigated Tony at the beginning of the day, but he outright denied any form of soft claim, so I dropped that thought.

- I think we need to mass claim, with flavor.
The above written statement is pro-town.

Still not buying the case on Tony, especially after the late day hung jury. But I'll reread him more carefully today.

Rash is obv-town. Process of elimination suggests that wolf is full of shit unless we have a 9:2:1 setup.

@wolf: Whom did you "protect" and why?

Cross-posted.

@bionic: It says Darox was vanilla, so I assume it's not the same.

I'll consider the mass claim suggestion and post my opinion after work. If we do it, I want people to also post whether or not they're from the Neighborhood, damn it. :)

Do you think that scum would've resolved it if one of their buddies wasn't on the line? Yesterday was the best day for scum, nolynch = no info.

While I usually agree with this, I don't feel this was the case here. I was online at deadline and could have lynched Darox. I couldn't bring myself to flip over. I decided I would rather have 9 alive today with the info from the night and the ability to lynch twice (assuming the first lynch misses). Now we are sitting at likely 3:5 scum:town and needing 5 to lynch (would have needed 5 to lynch at 3:6 also). This means scum either need to bus or every town player needs to agree.

As far as the information we gained:
gorckat wrote:
Vote Count
(6 to lynch)
Darox (5): M4yhem, TonyMontana, crywolf, fhqwhgads, Ythill
TonyMontana (5): Darox, Oman, Rashiminos, pickemgenius, bionic

Not voting (0):
Whoever killled Darox - IMO - was on his wagon. Either a vig or scum. If they weren't, a deadline flip would have been easy. Also looking at the wagons, I would say anywhere from 3-4 killers are on there and I am not lynching anybody on the Tony wagon today.

2/5 people on Tony's wagon were killed last night.

Scenarios I can't see:
- Tony town + Ythill scum (since ythill was around at deadline.)
- rashiminos scum (not impossible, but he could have easily voted Darox at deadline being the other person around)
- scum being on Tony's wagon

If Tony is somehow town, scum would almost definitely be M4yhem, crywolf and f.

If I was allowed to choose who was lynched today, I would choose in this order: crywolf, m4yhem, Tony, F, ythill.
The above written statement is pro-town.

Quoted for emphasis.

I don't agree that Rash/Ythill are Obvtown. Maybe they didn't want to have to be the deciding vote on a townie? I could see either as scum, quite frankly, but probably not both (unless that arguement was just for show).

I'd be happy to claim and think everyone else should too if this is really the endgame. How do we decide the order?

popcorn (I think that is the term) IMO. Crywolf has already claimed, so we can start with her picking the next person and explaining why. Then that person claims and picks until completed.

If crywolf is your top suspect for scum, should you really be letting her pick first?

who scum picks (if she is scum) can also provide information. The only fair way to do it is for somebody who has already claimed to pick next. It is just an extension of the popcorn picking to before we mass claimed from my perspective (as if I picked her to claim first and she is picking who claims 2nd). If she hadn't claimed yet, she would be my pick to claim first and would then be picking the next claim anyway.
