Again VFP feels weirdly argumentative for no good reason. I don't get why they don't just explain their problems with the Dunny wagon or why they scumread Samantha. The willow/Dunny theory is also worded awkwardly.

That Nancy post from earlier looked pretty towny to me, I liked the read on samantha and I'm slowly but surely starting to lean that way as well. scum!samantha is a lot more agreeable and less controversial, this feels like snippy town!samantha so far.

Got to the end of page 18 and VFP being so fierce on willow slightly misrepresenting what VFP said about the Dunny wagon is so strange. I can't tell it's ridiculously stubborn town or bad faith scum. I agree with willow's side and don't like VFP's but not sure if that makes them scum. Being extremely argumentative is probably a towny thing on average unless you're Farkran though. I lean TvT but if there's scum it's VFP.

To expand on Retti: It's a take that is reasonable and you can sort of see if you twist your head and look at that post alone, but is it the likely one when you examine the surrounding context of VFP being extremely argumentative, and might they be questioning it more to look into willow's alignment? It feels their main concern with that statement was to question willow's motives, not to direct suspicion to the other lurkers, as that doesn't seem realistic.

I highlighted that post because it was noticeably bad and served best to highlight my point. People were already glazing over that whole dust-up and writing it off as town vs town, going into a lengthier breakdown would likely be ignored. I don't see that as a gotcha argument at all, but as an example of the way he responds to suspicion that is so scummy

I think stubbornness is largely a personality trait rather than an alignment based one and frustration is an emotion that can be legitimately felt even as scum which makes it easy to draw on. I don't find the way he's arguing to be genuine though, his points are "you sound fake and forced" "you're not answering my questions" and turning into an immense level of pedantry about statements he's made - see e.g. the shift from "I'm not voting dunn" to "I never said it was a bad wagon" to somehow trying to spin this as a negative

for interpreting a statement that could reasonably be seen as disapproval of the votes on Dunn as such. It's, as I said, evasive in a way town does not argue
