Perhaps instead of "Brutalism", you should have named yourself "Complacency" - in the REAL mafia games that were played back in the day, typically you could form preliminary reads on three or even four players in 200 posts! I also find that if your 249 was a representation of all of that lovely information you scoured then either it was a poor representation or, as I stated before, not a lot of shit happened.

I mean, if you want to split hairs, yes, enough things happened in order to play a mafia game. Not a lot happened compared to most, which was Misty's point - I was a little snippy because it's my thought that between the two of you two highly gifted individuals that you could figure out what they were saying, but maybe I was wrong.

That said, you (Collective you, not specifically to one head or the other) taking the game seriously even while claiming to not earlier THEN turning around to complain about nobody taking it seriously is...????

We're not taking the game seriously.

For LLD, this means she's probably not gonna be posting a ton unless something interesting happens. And if we're being honest with ourselves, there probably won't be anything interesting happening this game because... well, I'm the most interesting person in the game by FAR and even someone of my skill can't carry a game alone.

Me not taking the game seriously means that when I'm drunk, this is probably the game I'm posting to first. If Cabd happens to be scum this game and fool me, this won't be a bragging rights game for him because I'm not trying too hard. I'm not stressing over stocks - I'm more invested in memeing or riding or dying than I am picking stocks that are good.

I'm still playing to win and I'm still playing to have fun - I always do (hence why pointing out an unhealthy gamestate still adds value and is still something I care about!). This game is just going to be a hell of a lot sloppier than what you're probably used to.

Cabd should understand this distinction which is why I pointed it out, but if he doesn't, he can take notes and pass them along to his daughter so that EVENTUALLY someone in the Cabd line will be able to read me.

I'm like the popular bully; people are afraid to bite back against me because they don't have the quick wit and they're afraid of social reprecussions.

LLD is the reason people won't show their teeth; she's the bully with the chip on her shoulder, she's the one that grew up in the hood and grew up with some sharp claws that only come out when people decide to fuck with her or her people.

So broken promises, but so far the piece of Brutalism that I liked was Cabd's approach to Gamma. I think that fooling Gamma would be a priority of scum-Cabd this game whereas reading him Gamma properly is a priority of town-Cabd based on recent dynamics.

I don't like that Cabd hasn't taken control of the game in any way whatsoever - one of the significant read flags that I had with him that I ended up ignoring and talk myself out of in Tenet was me identifying town-Noraa before he did. I did not give a fuck about his thread in Tenet the slightest, but still I had to monitor the gamestate over there? Cabd knows better. He does his best in order to fake like a terrible player, but he's actually decent as town - letting unwnd trot out and chastise me for commenting on a weak gamestate either means Cabd is slacking or Cabd is scum.

But, I do love gimmick posting. And sometimes it's hard to communicate through gimmick posting but gimmick posting is still fun as shit, so I'd like to still give him a day to actually sort him out. I'll be dragging him through the mud every opportunity that I get, of course, but unless he continues to be the only scumread that I have by the end of the Day I'm not lynching there.
