Yes. It’s generally what happens especially if it happens early, especially on Day 1. You appear to be kinda new and I always like to let newbies know to never disregard what’s unlikely as if it could never happen. Don’t use it as a full read, but just keep it in the back of your mind, so that you don’t ever get duped (okay SE hat off). Also not sure if it’s ever a good trade, but scum have their own strange reasons for doing what they do.

I don’t know what that means, so I don’t even know how to address it. 330 and 347 aren’t mutually exclusive. The latter were my thoughts for the Goose wagon and the former was for the confusion of the alternates for me. The thought process of looking at you, gamma, or ydrasse is that you were driving/controlling the wagon. Gamma and Ydrasse seemed opportunistic, so if Goose flips town, then it’d make sense for me that at least one scum would be on his wagon early and maybe mid. I’d assume the other two were off wagon or not voting should that be a eod wagon. If Goose flips scum, it not only makes me look bad, well worse, but it’d all but clear you three. I can get into more tomorrow.

Hub - Not really confident putting Hub here as I’ve never played with them and don’t really know what to look for. Postings and interactions have felt decent, but I gotta go with my gut here and it’s telling me they’re more than likely town.

Lunar - Although Lunar’s activity is lacking, the few posts he has made reminds me of Newbie 2049 where he was town.

Gamma - I have only played one game with Gamma and he was scum. I don’t know what tells to look for from town!Gamma, but should be able to sort the slot better once we have some flips.

Ydrasse - Very similar to Gamma here. I have also played exactly only one game with Ydrasse and she was scum, but don’t know what to look for when she’s town. It’s also a slot like Gamma that I’ll have to wait for flips/reveals. I was leaning town for Ydrasse earlier, but there have been things that pinged me and has had me push her up and down the readslist.

Samantha - Can’t really read Samantha. She scumread me which made me think she was scum, but not sure at the moment.

leaning scum/scum:

Cookie Monster - Cookie’s early “why mes” kind of stand out to me. There also seems to be an overall defensiveness there and not the normal townie defensiveness. I’m gutreading this slot right now.

Gretchen - Has been broadcasting how much of a townie she is and wants everybody to follow suit. Aside from tunneling me haven’t seen very much from Gretchen except the aforementioned let’s all be friends.

In the beginning - My recent interactions have me thinking beginning is more than likely scum here. A lot of inconsistencies and hypocrisies and I feel like he jumped on my wagon. And I did initially think his quick clear of Gretchen was kinda ridiculous.

Zoomer - Earlier in the game I was leaning guttown for Ydrasse so I felt Zoomer’s interaction with her was kinda strange and I thought he was attempting to pocket her. When I called it out he kinda brushed it off with a answer almost like let’s not talk about it. To be fair I didn’t come back to it, but I was somewhat distracted.

Uhh, well yeah I’m a little embarrassed and I knew it was obviously gonna come up, but once I posted my readslist I left. When I came back to check in I saw Hub’s lolpost below mine and was like huh, so I went back to read page 27 and saw what transpired with Lunar. With Hub’s post in mind I just voted at the bottom of page 27. I saw Battle Mage and Samantha had voted.

The embarrassing part is when my post refreshed I saw Funeral had already put him at E-1. Ugh. I wasn’t too fret about it though, but it was goofy. That’s why I didn’t really wanna talk in twilight, but trust, me I would not have been that careless as scum. For some reason hammering is like a huge no no in this game, but I was okay with whatever heat would come. I didn’t really know where the vote was, but I didn’t expect it to be hammer.

It might be anti-town in some sense, but in another sense, it's perfectly sensible. It's a good way to throw scum off. (Please note that I am /still/ not confirming nor denying whether I was crumbing there or not. More specifically, you may speculate as to whether the crumb is real or not.)

you have to consider this from a probabilistic standpoint. Notably, it's not unreasonable to suppose that there is a scum in the lower content slots (which I think we will agree that both Lunar and Battle Mage fit at the time) and given a lack of sufficient scum reads elsewhere, poe makes it a decent likelihood.
