Since Lowell has been hammered, I'm going to hold off on that post until day 2 starts so that I might work with or drop the connections info that I have.ShowCompleted Games:

Tony, sorry. IGMEOYing someone for a joke (especially as we go into night) looks like setting up for the next day on something superweak.crywolf20084 wrote:

Then that sudden hit on Rashiminos even though I don't remember him going after him all day....well, like I said, it looks like he's setting up.It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts-

Rashiminos:Lowell

Mr. Smith's death was the talk of the town. Folks gathered at the town square at dawn and were pointing fingers at each other and making accusations of involvement almost immediately. Folks attention turned to Lowell- he kept coming and going, missing important parts of the discussion and having to catch up. By dusk, most folks had had enough and wanted him hung for the murder of Mr. Smith.
So he was.
As the crowd dispersed, they noticed an awful lot of people standing at the bus stop, looking at their watches, making frantic calls on their cell phones, comforting crying, exhausted looking children. Looking back at Lowell's lukewarm corpse hanging from the town's oldest maple tree, someone noticed the public transit bus parked on the other side of the town square.
Checking his pockets, a "The Neighborhood Transit Authority" badge and keyring were found.
He'd been coming and going on his routes around town.
Lowell, Bus Driver, Vanilla Townie has been lynched.
Night will last until midnight (US east coast) on Saturday, 9/13.-

With no bus in service, everyone walked on home, despondent.
The following morning, just before sunrise, Mrs Smith, recently widowed, wept alone in her living room. She heard the faint sounds of a piano...Rachmaninov's Vocalise. She looked out the window and across the street. Through the rising sun's glare, she saw into iamausername's living room...he was sitting at the piano, swaying.
Mrs Smith saw a flicker of movement...blood sprayed from user's skull and across the window as Mrs Smith watched in horror!
user reached weakly up from the floor, trying to blink away the blood running through his eyes. His hand gripped the piano keys and the attacker slammed the piano's lid down on his hand, crushing user's fingers, before finishing user off with the bat.
iamausername, Piano Teacher, Miller, was killed Night One.
10 alive, 6 to lynch.
Day 2 is deadlined for 10/5, midnight (east coast US).[/hr]-

I just woke up, haven't even finished my coffee yet.
The NK is odd. Scum must have known user was the miller, so why kill him? Of course, maybe they wanted to distract us with that very question.
As of now, I'm still pretty suspicious of wolf and Darox, especially since some of the scummier moments of each were related to the Lowell mislynch. Before I place a vote, however, I'm going to look back at that wagon. If I remember correctly, Oman's policy vote and Tony's early attack were also suspect.Record:Town 10W/15LScum 4W/1LOther 2W/2LNewbie 1L

I know, but I'm pretty sure that at least one did. The wagon is just good place to start, and I'm not just talking about the votes. I'm going to look at the dynamics in general: arguments for and against the wagon, the timing of certain actions when compared to suspicion on others, etc.
The benefit of Lowell's death is that we have lots of info, as previously stated.
Also, I promised to disclose "option (c)" as soon as it was no longer dangerous to the town. In case you don't remember, the topic was user's possible roles, with (a) and (b) being scum and miller. He also could have been a cop, using the claim to hide his role and keep himself from being NKed. Unlikely, but possible. Maybe scum figured that out, explaining their NK choice?
Anyway... not sure when I'll have time to do the wagon analysis. Maybe not until Wednesday (Monday and Tuesday are LA days for me), but I'll let y'all know when it's done.Record:Town 10W/15LScum 4W/1LOther 2W/2LNewbie 1L

You know what,##unvote crywolf(looks like I forgot proper format anyway). This isn't the best place to start (but may be connected to the person who I think is). My previous post lead me to take a peak at the most suspicion person who didn't vote Lowell.
When the wagon looked like it was headed to a sure Lowell lynch, Elias was the first to hop off. He never got back on.Elias_the_thief wrote:##unvote
this wagon went way to fast for my liking, and lowell hasnt even got around to answering my initial questions. Lets just slow it down a bit, and look more carefully at everyone voting lowell.
This statement to start the day is odd. Many people thought Lowell was scum and voted such. There is no need to apologize. An apology comes off as scummy to me - as if you felt the need to justify your opinions of hte previous day when there was no pressure to do such. The biggest reason this looks odd is that you ended the day without voting for anybody.Elias_the_thief wrote:Thoughts: Sorry lowell, I really thought you were scum. Reread in progress.
I also find it suspicious you had 1 random vote and 1 vote for Lowell, with no other votes during the day. I did not get the impression you were doing any genuine scum hunting and you never really made any substantial posts about anybody. The most you did was list 3 players as 'slightly scummy'.
I could be wrong here, but I think this is an avenue worth pursuing to start the day. I don't want to tunnel in on crywolf and lose sight of the rest of the game.
##vote eliasThe above written statement is pro-town.-

Hmm, not the first to look at elias, but I'll read up on his posts again and recollect my thoughts later.
The NK is indeed strange. I'll have to look back, but someone noted that they think they know what option 'c' was that Ythill talked about earlier. Can't remember who now, but it might be worth looking into.
I'll also want to hear more people's reactions to the lynch and NK actions before disclosing more.Avoiding votes by means of the spelling of my name.-

To save you the trouble, that was me asking about option c, and I think someone else mentioned it as well. Now that its been told, I'm not sure what to think.Fhq wrote:The NK is indeed strange.
