Ceph, this is a large game, it's page 60, (total 200 pages if you add up the other game), let's not reach for smelling salts when a player gets wagon'ed.

did i miss a daycop soft or something bc otherwise this post is, like, from space
Both mastina and I are voting LLD for reasons that overlap (that may be an artifact of mastina being so wordy, and I being so terse), and many players that aren't LLD's buddies agree.

How is that "from space?"

I mean, it can't really be rational when no reason is provided. Reason is like the root word of rational. I think.

Votes are going to go somewhere. I guess I'd recommend presenting a more attractive alternative.

It's a little different fmpov because the wagon is on an important player who is a huge asset as town (and thus who scum would love an excuse to get out of the way, which if she's town, is being merrily provided by you). And I don't see anyone assembling a serious counterwagon either.

You could definitely be right, sure. I'm starting to feel that's a stronger possibility, but it's still not based on anything LLD has posted.

I realize this is probably not meant to be taken seriously--but it was genuinely this which is the first thing Dann's posted since the big turnaround-post of his that I've thought was town beyond Dannflor's scumrange.

You'd think it'd be the first half of the post. But no, it was specifically
this
half that made me think, genuinely, "Dann's town".

I don't know why tho, just gut.

I mean literally almost every hercule vote has been bad but I won't pretend that the Ythan/Oka votes on LLD were good; they weren't. So you won't have trouble convincing me certain slots could be scum, but other slots are a much harder sell.

In post 1483, Dannflor wrote:what is LLD town flip gonna tell you?
Honestly, LLD is the only player that I currently would classify as active with a high chance of flipping scum. (Oka's posting isn't truly 'active' and while he has a decent chance of flipping scum he's not a high chance of flipping scum.)

If LLD flipped town, it'd tell me that the scum is entirely in the less-active slots, mostly letting the LLD-herc fight happen. The slots I'd call qualifying for this would be {Titus, the worst, OkaPoka, Ythan, AGar}, loosely speaking.

But given that's largely my pool for scum regardless of LLD's alignment, honestly not much changes on her flip regardless of her alignment. I still think that Titus is scum, and while some in the pool may be more likely town/scum off of an LLD flip of a certain alignment, I still think this pool contains scum.

Abundant reasoning has been provided, but if you're scum not reading the game, it might have escaped your notice.

Loosely speaking. Townbloc strong townreads, weaker-initial-townreads-who-could-be-scum, ditto-but-actually-lean-scum, lean-scum, strong scumread, strongest scumread.

*DGB is a strong townread regardless of LLD's alignment, but if LLD is scum DGB at this point is beyond the realm of bussing so would indeed become locktown on an LLD-scumflip. But even IF LLD flipped town (I don't think she will), DGB would continue to be a strong townread, one of my strongest.

**Dannflor's here right now, but if I continue to see him make posts I don't think he can make as scum, expect him to move up into the townbloc.

***Xtoxm's the same caveat as before; he'd be in my townbloc if not for reasonable paranoia given my misread last game.

ok so I got a chance to speak with my team about some of my reads and this will be a bit of a 180 from earlier but

1) one of my teammates has convinced me that LLD was doing fakerage and that she does this exact kind of "gross fake AtE" as scum, and they're screaming at me that it's bullshit, which I am now believing. another teammate as well pointed out that she explictly said she's good at emoting as scum. honestly, like even just letting my instant reaction dissipate a bit I found myself cooling on the AtE and that was one of the main reasons I unvoted to begin with

2) petapan is very sure that Dunnstral is playing his towngame but he can't/won't explain it further than that so it's not really that helpful for me

3) spf agrees that A50 is town but peta, who A50 asked me to ask for reads on him, thought that nothing stands out as obviously town to him and that he has some scummy posts

so I guess I will downgrade A50 slightly from my town block but more importantly I'm willing to lethal LLD, which I'm sure will bring much joy to some players at this table

VOTE: Lady LambdaDelta

and yes I know Oka voted them and put them at L-3 so I want to make this very clear that I am putting them intentionally at L-2
