I liked cats stance on skitter. My first thought was a gambit to get FL to use his hug early, so cat keeping the claim at a distance was good.

It could get FL to walk down the PL to use the hug. You're still a high profile sort or check, that only leaves like 5 slots below you on the list making you checkable.

I don't know what doing it would be for but it's a hypothetical that crossed my mind.
