If this is a problem in such a fast paced game, you can /replace me if you see fit.

Reclusion, I don't see how this post is any different from battlemage's latest posts, except for BM asking k7 to claim.

I'd prefer a replacement for them instead of voting them off at this stage of the game.

Killa Seven has confirmed and posted in two other large normal games yesterday. Alvinz95 has confirmed and posted in two mini games yesterday. So no, they don't need replacement. They need to stop lurking.

Sigh. That said, I'm feeling nice. I put in a prod request that both of them be reminded of the existence of this thread. But I still advocate we deal with lurking ourselves, especially in this case. They're active on the board, so there's absolutely no excuse for them not being active here.

@Xtoxm: You think what's ok? K7 and Alvinz lurking? Cuz that's not ok. Regardless of how much is going on, intentionally not posting is never ok.

Also, I agree with Yaw that it should be up to us to get them to start talking here. And if that means threatening to vote them out, then that's what we do.

That said...

Im not lurking, i didnt know this started the mod just sent me a pm with the link.
I generally only go to my watched topics.

Why is there a wagon on me when i havent even posted. i know why a few of them are voting me because i have played with them, others seem to just be hoping on a wagon.

It seems there's a couple posts in there lacking in referencing. Tovarish's is an answer to BM, but quotes would really help to put that in context. I don't know about Xtoxm's at all. What does, "I think it's ok" refer to, Xtoxm?

Also, good to see killa seven has shown up. I hope this is on your watched topics list and you'll be participating regularly from here on out. (I
will
be counting posts periodically.)

I was actually talking to Tovarish, about the disagree with playstyle thing.

But if I hadn't, what's the problem with that?

Reclusion, I don't see how this post is any different from battlemage's latest posts, except for BM asking k7 to claim.
My post was made in jest. That should have been made apparent with the addition of the "Gogogo!" at the end of it. Battle Mage, on the other hand, seriously requested a claim on page 2 of the thread and labeled killa seven as a "lurker" when the thread hadn't even been open long enough for him to be considered a lurker
in this game
. That lurker comment just seemed like a misrepresentation of killa seven to me, so I called BM out about it.
Battle Mage wrote:thay've already been answered by my alt.
Your alt answered my questions, eh? Well then your "alt" said the following:
hasdgfas, in 41, wrote:
Reclusion wrote:And it
is
too early to classify someone as a lurker. This game just began yesterday. How could someone possibly be considered a lurker after a day's worth of content?
He's a chronic lurker, that's how.
But this "chronic lurker" variation of k7 wasn't what you were referring to. You said the following:
Battle Mage, in 35, wrote:I have no qualms with running him up to -2 when he is on full-throttle lurker mode.
This means that you pretty much thought he was lurking within this game; not that you considered him to be a chronic lurker. I'd vote you for all of this and for your inability to answer questions but the last thing I need is an OMG UR OMGUS-ing me argument. Just know that you’ve definitely caught my attention.

Also
unvote
for now.

You're right, I'm probably making a big deal out of nothing.
And can someone define "chronic lurker" vs. "full-throttle lurker?"

I'd say Chronic lurker is someone who lurks every game, Full-Throttle lurker refers to a Chronic lurker who is at the height of his lurkiness.

Sorta.

Chronic lurker = player with long history of lurking in every or most games he/she plays in.

Full-throttle lurker mode = player who is
currently
lurking to the extreme in a particular game.

This last post of Reclusion shows me why some ppl vote at the beginning against some lurkers. Now I know at least that they are voted against as they are 'chronic lurkers'. To me, it isn't the best reason to vote someone, but not everybody thinks the same.

But Reclusion, don't pay that much attention to BM. I've heard that he is quite stubborn and besides he has the longest pregame history as record as far as I know. He also likes mocking those who don't agree with him.

Is K7 really a chronic lurker?

But if he lurks during every game then what's the use of voting him? We don't get any information and he is still lurking.

That's unfair. But perhaps due to my charming playingstyle and my sweet words, he'll come out and play with us for a change. Just let me do my job and I'm sure he'll enjoy himself with us in this game ;).
