masonry was never going to let that happen they were not interested in that slot and tbh my problem with the current site meta is I don't understand how town was super okay with letting that slot be on the table for so long when they were always really townie and got even more townie as the game went on more and more.

I think the swing went in our favor overall, vig hitting town is honestly fine as long as the shots hit in the elim poe. Maybe too much town power because scum did get some breaks. But then again, hard to tell how it goes if D2 was more standard

I think Supersaint is enough of a surprise that town should have some warning about it. As far as informed townie goes, that role could've definitely been dropped and the setup would be roughly the same.

I do think the setup is overall balanced to a reasonable standard. 13-4 requires quite a bit of town power (as opposed to 10-3), and scum did have some powerful tools. Maybe a full vig is a little bit too much; as Blade Dancer points out, the other roles, especially the cop, were quite gated.

That's kind of all we had, though. Alien is strong, but in actuality, it's really not necessary, and a doctor essentially could have done the same thing bar Pichu's role.

If I would have said Vengeful on DEB instead of Supersaint, that would be a much stronger role, but I neutered myself already because I wanted to play around with hammer specifically, and keep lower power.

And even if you wouldn't have, Supersaint could have killed a conf town, which was highly probable, and essentially what the game was setup for.

It was just too much, and Supersaint Enabler is a direct counter to Supersaint which hard nullified the role.

RNG makes me fucking town in some stupid playerlists that know nothing about me and mislime me day 1. But in the literal few games where people might actually see the town in town!me, they make me scum.

Bell hard-defending PBE and then DEB counterclaiming Bell was like a chain of unfortunate events for the bad guys.

but mostly we won because Hectic/Ydra/Ircher/Mastina/Solstice played their townie hearts out so so hard. <3

I wasn't told Pichu was Hectic or I would have. They got banned, I think 3rd, but I probably would have first or second picked them if I knew it was Hectic pre game.

I even stated in TvA I'd pick Hectic as an under the radar scum when he would have still been under the radar.
