The problem is, it can't be both Rainbow and Jake, and whichever one is town has no desire to help us win the game because

I mean, I think you're probably right. It's probably one of Rainbow or Jake, especially because I feel like scum is in a really weird position here. I just have trouble shaking that paranoia.

But I just got done yelling from the dead thread about Isis and Oka being too paranoid and not just going with the obvious option in Epilogue.

Like I get it, and Fidget's meta on Rainbow is actually really excellent reason to think that. And Sneasal is pretty townie overall, just that line from Hectic has me really thinking.

Maybe it's just WiFoM.

Well because Sneasel isn’t actually doing what Hectic was advocating for and because I think it was more of a gambit to make Uncrowned trust him.

When I metadived Vault in Death Curse, I found out that he doesn’t do any solving as scum and in all of RR’s towngames as Fidget pointed out she was really chatty and here she’s pretty much doing nothing outside of the reads’ posts, so I highly doubt that’s a complete coincidence.

My original point(s) that I was going to make were based on a quote from Cleary about how they townread Snevil (which would be a passive affirmation that they accept the prop from Snevil, but not literally accepting it) and, weirdly, how they logic'd themselves into TRing Pooky and I (which I pointed out that they clearly no longer subscribed to)

Reading through everything, Sneasel and Pooky are town. The only thing I really disliked from Jake was their Uncrowned deepwolfing post but then that doesn’t really make a lot of sense with Hectic as their buddy because Jake would essentially be derailing that pairing, so Jake is likely town because shading the slot who his buddy wants to trust makes absolutely no sense, so Shelley saying neither Jake or Pooky should endgame makes zero sense.

So if it isn’t Shelley it’s RR. Jake makes no sense as a Hectic buddy because she was working at cross purposes to derail Hectic/Uncrown tf, so why would Hectic buddy Jake do that? That makes no sense.

Pooky and Jake are town.

scum pooky is very pessimistic based off firsthanded experience sharing a scum pt with him. i can totally see this as scum!pooky trying to shift away from defending against my pressure

jake was totally scumposting after returning trying to shade akarin

My biggest issue with gamestate is that I'm amazed this isn't multiball with Jake and Pooky on opposite scumteams

gun to head I think Pooky is less likely to just totally fold as scum which means Jake is probably more likely but scum Pooky would have basically had town sitting on his neck all game so I'm also not very confident in his ability NOT to fold in this game in particular

I guess if one person in Pooky/Jake is just going to lose the game for town for no reason I would say it's Jake before Pooky (Jake has powerful chaotic neutral vibes) so like again I think it's Pooky before Jake

If I have a blind spot it's rainbow reads, I just /feel/ like their reads have a form of trajectory and that automatically makes them more towny than either of Pooky or Jake. Their read on Gloria was interesting. I didn't agree with the result but I could see how they started scumreading her at that point and she just shifted down their list. I wonder if RR's taciturn approach to this game is intentional to draw a reaction from e.g. Gloria but that's above my pay grade.
