Newbie 626 - Completed Successfully (dependent on town POV)

Okay, I've done some re-reading and I'm leaning towards Indigo Heron as the remaining scum. I know he makes unconventional plays, but I'm displeased with how the answers to the questions came out after the doctor claim. Neither of his predecessors gave me anything to feel good about, either.

I don't like how invisible Mispeled looks on Day One, and there was a post forgiving Freckle's play, but that was very early in the day. Plus I don't see the point in pushing on MamaLuigi close to deadline if he's scum. It just draws attention to himself for the next day regardless of whether Grimmy or MamaLuigi end up dead.

I can be more detailed in my thoughts if requested.

I'm also thinking that Indigo Heron is scum for all previously mentioned reasons. The fact that he hammered Freckles makes no difference - it was clear at that point that it was inevitable that Freckles would be lynched, and inevitable that IH would be the next target. He had very little to lose by bussing a scumpartner.

@iago: You displeased? To me, letting someone else take the bullet for you, however unwitting it is, allows me to remain in cover for another day. I'm also a little surprised you didn't vote for anybody on Day 3.

You misunderstand me. This is the part I am displeased about:

You - I am the doctor.
Me - Why did you unvote a soft-claimed doctor?
You - When did I do that?
Me - Day Two.
You - You're reading it wrong. I unvoted him before the claim.
Me - No, look. See?
You - Oh, well, you see blah blah blah...

Without you telling me I'm reading it wrong, I can almost buy it. But you did tell me I was reading it wrong. So we went from...

A) You not remembering the action to
B) You insisting that isn't how things went down to
C) Specific reasoning.

...if you're reasoning was so specific it should not have taken so much prodding to bring it out in Lylo, especially since it is so central to your claimed role's usefulness.

I didn't vote Day Three because everyone else had already voted. I made my position clear when I said in no uncertain terms Freckles was scum and we should lynch her. There wasn't any point in casting a vote after she was lynched, and I had already put myself on record.

On first glance,

You say that it was inevitable for Freckles to be lynched, and if I placed the hammer on her, I'd get off untouched. However, Mispeled had already begun distancing Freckles at post #248. My train of thought is that Mispeled had foreseen that Freckles would be baggage in this game, and a pawn for the team's victory.

Again, this is just a first glance, and should be taken lightly until something more concrete and supported by hard evidence comes out.

Indigo, nice try with the doc claim. You definitely made me second-guess myself.

Freckles, the *shakes fist at scum* was what really made me think you were mafia. Other than that, and the giving up at the end, you did pretty well.

OH, and I totally thought that this game was totally fucked once the syz ordeal went down. Turns out, he was an alt of Gimbo, who has been banned for ruining games (like this one), with several alts and stupid WIFOM gambits and whatnot. Except, he didn't ruin this one. WOOHOO!

It didn't convince everyone that Neko was town. Not even Neko claimed to find breadcrumbing action.

Scum: what was the rationale behind your kills?

My rationale for investigating Neko was that he was really aggressive and logical. Like I said at the beginning of day 2, if he was town, he was a huge asset. If scum, he was really dangerous. I wanted to confirm him.

As for Indigo... I don't really remember my rationale.
