I like Almost50 idea of the sinner and or seducer claiming but I like to hear others opinions. Also posting our votes her in thread as well seems like a good idea. It might give town a better ability to scum hunt'

I'm sorry to report I am trying to decipher what you're saying into something comprehensible, but -so far- I failed miserably.

I can tell you that I voted, but you don't know whether I did, how many times, or who for. My point is we can talk about our votes and even post them, and as brighteningskies pointed out, it may be a good idea to at least talk about them to aid in seeing what coalitions develop, wagons and all that. I think that has utility. But we need to be cautious because the votes out here -- like the polls before and after elections -- aren't the votes that count.

Looking at the deadline, we have a little less than 48 hours to deadline. I think we should start talking about who we want on the ballot. The talk about claiming and targeting is informative, but I know I'm used to longer deadlines on this site, so I don't want to lose the forest for the trees. We should be talking about the ballot in addition to the other stuff.

I'm actually inclined to agree with this. Even A50 -- if I'm fooled so be it. I think Taylor is town too. There was one post where she corrected something Fuzzy had written about priests not claiming when fuzzy wrote that priests should claim I think. I'm not into all the mech talk -- I messed up the very first post -- but what you folk have hashed out sounds logical.

That's what I'm working on. Without participation, it's difficult to choose, right? Seems like Elements has kind of insulated himself, so I don't know right now.

i think elements should be the investigation. if elements is clairvoyant then maybe pine or italiano or another quiet slot? i dont mind if its me either. galron, me correcting a typo someone made is pretty easy to fake as scum. fuzzy is pretty town except fuzzy has been rolefishing.

I don't really like this post - he's basically saying he read the Elements conflict but isn't really standing too much on his point / exploring Elements' slot or reasoning, just basically waves hello while driving by.

How do you get that IVD is referring to Elements at all there? I took from it that IVD wasn't sure about the mechanics but knew that he needed to be open about being checked. Now if you want to talk about 151, I think that's a post worth tearing into like monkey did. If you had made this post using 151 as context, I could see you maybe coming to a conclusion that IVD was hand waving at the Elements claiming situation, but you didn't address 151 until later, so that's out. I guess the only way I can see you coming to the conclusion you did is because of the proximity of the Elements posts to 110, but that's some major assuming.

IVD started the game with a scummy post (complaining about my mechanical post). he then proceeds to claim he will be following someone he TRs. 110 shows he did at least see the call for the C/NC claim, but he held back until 151, which doesn't even make sense with 110[post] (how is he corrupt, undecided on claiming it or not, and is alright being checked?)

So, I think I am nominating that on the ballot today. As for the check, I have no problem being checked myself if that's what everybody wants.

How is saying that your mech post is long scummy? How is want to sheep someone you town read scummy? [post]151 is a scummy post. But the others, no.

Let me think aloud..

Assuming worst case scenario; we are in 7-3-1. We need to eliminate a WOLF or we will lose. Why? because with a miselimination coupled with a NK we would be in a 5-3-1 situation. We cannot afford to eliminate the Jester then, but scum can 9and probably will). They get 2 NKs and win as they reach parity with the town. They could also let us put Italiano on the ballot (tomorrow) and pit him against a townie, so we can choose between going into the night with 5-3 (and them having 2 NKs) or going into the night as 4-3-1 (and them having one NK). Now if we do eliminate the Jester today we would be at 7-3 going into the night (with the Wolves having 2 NKs) which means we are 5-3 tomorrow. Still not an ideal situation and I don't know what to do at this point.

So, do we take our chances and aim for a WOLF today?

He even did the work for you. Did anyone read these? Did anyone think about these?

Having reread it I got the feeling you were testing the waters to see if the role was available for you to fake claim, while subtly trying to gauge my own reaction to decide if I'm the Clairvoyant or not.
