Noraa, I hate to appeal to authority here but I have been playing mafia games for over a decade and you have been here 3 months. Like, yes, that doesn't make my opinion more valid than yours but multiple times this game you've expressed very strong opinions that just flat out suggest you don't know what you're talking about (Sheeping, OMGUS, this.) so maybe when you come across something in mafia where a bunch of people are telling you something you should listen to them instead of dismissing them? I probably shouldn't be posting this and I'll probably regret it but I'm still frustrated over the omgus thing.

From scum, its a variation of the "I hope its not the doc!" type of scumtell where scum are way more likely to make statements like that then town.

Panzer and MCat were attempts to bridge the gap and find a wagon those who were stuck on one side of the main debate could agree on

there are a lot of assumptions being made here where other players could equally apply. What differentiates panzer's wagon from pooky's and noraa's to you?

the fact those were the main things I saw as what I'd be willing to compromise on, and everyone accepted those choices without substantial rebuke. Several people expressed willingness to go on Panzer while to Noraa-Pooky thing was at its peak. Despite that, things ended up on MCat. I think scum made that happen. The chief reason I'd see for that is if Panzer were scum, and his buddies didn't want to let him get limmed.

That last post by outworldER is incredibly scummy. Trying to direct a pr which we don't even know we have is frequently done by scum. Speculating on motivation for scum kills is frequently a scum slip also.

Because of the deficit of information. Scum have more information than town so frequently they say more about nk than town do. Specifically the phrasing "seems like a compromise kill" doesn't sound like something I have ever seen town say. It speaks as if you have information about why the kill was made that town does not. It assumes a scum worldview which you can't possibly know about as town.

I like the point about a compromise kill. That's a very odd thing to speculate, and I can think of one case in the past where that sort of comment, had it actually been made, would have been a flagrant scumtell.

If I was scum, I would kill Shea and say its a noraa frame. Isnt that the easiest and it gets rid of the one person pushing me the hardest. Worst case scenario, I die today and I tell my partners to bus hard to get towncred and it won't link back to them cuz I was the one fighting shea.

I learned early that the obvious kill isn't always the right one. One of my earliest games had scum kill someone who was rather steadily FOSing me over someone who was not as steady but waaaay more vocal, and that clued the vocal person into the fact he might be wrong. I think there may a different but similar at the core logic towards why duppin died.

You can analyze the nightkill. The way you did reads as particularly inside baseball to me. Granted, that's just a feel thing, but I feel it pretty strongly.

I looked at the NK, I asked two questions to myself "why did this happen" and "what did this achieve", which I then gave the answer to. I'm not exactly sure how to respond to these votes but I don't really see scum motivation to push me now so eh.
