Iam, no Strife vote because I think I've found someone more deserving of my vote, not entirely sure yet. Besides "at this point" was a page ago. Can't expect me to commit to anything with very much conviction on page 2, can you?
Sooooo Retro I don't understand...you're just contradicting yourself. Do you think saying you should have voted for Strife would make the rest of us feel better about you?-

@ret: It may have been better to leave well enough alone. Afterall, if it was a random vote, one person is as good as the other. I don't beleive you intended anything by it, but you have succeeded in confusing the town.Show-sekinj

@mirth: becuase I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I can't really see how jumping your random vote around would help you as scum. It seems like a dumb townie mistake. Right now I'm more concerned about the people who haven't posted. I don't think we can get a good read on anyone until we interact more. The stuff so far I think has been good, but not enough for me to call anyone scum yet.Show-sekinj

I do think putting pressure on people because of small mistakes is valuable, but retro's error has been explained to my satisfaction.Show-sekinj

There where would a game go if we didn't point out small "errors" or ask questions and put pressure on people after the random vote stage?sekinj wrote:I do think putting pressure on people because of small mistakes is valuable, but retro's error has been explained to my satisfaction.Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.-

The game would go no where fast. I was AGREEING that putting pressure on people for small mistakes was GOOD. However, in the case of retro's error, I am satisfied with his answer.farside22 wrote:

I'm trying to figure out between Azrael, Retro and sekinj what the heck is going on.Mirth wrote:vote:Azraelw.t.f.? Why are we talking about killing on page 3? Also major scum points for planning a kill.
Retro is not off the hook for me though.
With sekinj I wonder why the explaination is enough. I mean it sounds like Retro is confused, but his back and forth explanination for a simple vote is really just weird. It wasn't necessary at all.
Retro's well see above.
As for Azrael just missing the comments completely and voting for sekinj. Why? I mean really why point out either sekinj or Strife as possible scum. This seems to go off of Retro's "mistake" comment.

Again, I just don't see what scum would benefit from being silly and trying to "correct" a random vote. It was just not a smart thing to try and do. I think that is all there is to it. I didn't even point out to retro when I noticed his mistake because I didn't think it mattered.
Of course if retro KEEPS making silly, random, not paying attention mistakes, I will begin to be suspicious of him. Or maybe just write him off as a bad player.-

I'm with sekinj on this one, I don't see retro's random voting shenanigans as scummy at all and am pretty confused as to why anyone would, frankly. He thought he'd typed the wrong name and corrected himself. How is that scummy?
And hey, I sure did lay down a gnarly random vote. Why should we be lynching sekinj/strife, Azrael?Elapsam semel occasionem non ipse potest Iuppiter reprehendere-

Iam, its an issue because since it was RVS it doesnt actually matter who he voted. So whether he intended to vote one over the other, the rest of us had no reason to care since we'd all pretty much be assuming randomness. But he makes the distinction himself and backtracks. This is unsettling. Why should it make a difference to him?-

I think I may have gotten to the end of page two and forgot to go to the next page. I was under the impression we were still in the random vote stage. That post was not serious. I just picked two people who were arguing and said lynch them both.Forgive my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
(The irony is killing me.)-
