Billy: the quote should close after the word "reasons".
It isn't in any way a policy lynch. And I'm still indecisive on Oman. Like I said his Kison point had a weird air of honesty about it. But the general point of my post is "are we maybe looking past the obvious here?" as an honest reading should reveal.
So... are we maybe looking past the obvious here?
Also note - every time you enumerate my Oman as scum points you leave something out. You did it again in your last post. Care to tell me what it was?-

Because he's not doing much else. He previously was suspicious of Cicero yet I've not seen much of that from him lately. Now he comes out and claims he's suspicious of me for reasons he can't explain. The appropriate thing for him to do is to try to figure out _why_ he's suspicious.Jitsu wrote:
I can't help but wonder why you are paying Oman's gut feeling so much attention. So far, Oman's suspicion of you boils down to two things: (1) the FoS vs. vote thing, which you've responded to, and (2) a "gut" feeling he hasn't explained. Oman's point about the FoS is rather weak but why are you continuing to push for Oman to characterize his gut feeling? It certainly doesn't seem like anyone is interested in voting you because of a gut feeling Oman has.Kison wrote:Oman, I take it you haven't figured out why you think I'm scummy.-

I read it. I don't think much about it obviously because I know I'm not scum. I don't think what you said is very damning, because the Town clearing a player based on another's 'suspicion' of a scum pair winding up being incorrect does not make much sense, as you said. That's really taking a leap of faith that everyone is not thinking clearly, because considering how inactive Shanba was, not a whole lot could be concluded about who would be aligned with him should he be scum. So CKD flipping Town says nothing about Shanba <-> Everyone else.-

And how does this make Shanba/me any more likely to be scum? You say it does, because it would allow for Shaft.ed to drop the shanbascum case. But the shanbascum case was a result of his CKD push. Why are you assuming that Shafted would beOman wrote:I think its a nice thought actually. Trying to find my gut
Obviously the first issue is shanba's lurking, however, as Shanba just left, I think I can throw that away. But lets see what was posted.
Shanba also seemed to follow Shaft.ed's first vote on me The vote count shows it Shanba doesn't properly explain this, so she could just be trying to build something. Even when Shaft.ed is against shanba's lurking, he still votes CKD.
When shanba does post, she says that CKD's attack on shaft.ed is OMGUS and "doesn't make much sense".
Half way through, Kison doesn't enter yet. I'll do the rest later. It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts-

I can see what you're getting at here. I've done that as scum before. Works in two ways- if you get the townie lynched, it allows you to drop your suspicion- if your buddy dies, you can pursue the town lynch without looking scummy.Oman wrote:I think its a nice thought actually. I will vote either Erg0 or Cicero at deadline. There's a lot of gut here, but Cicero feels insincere.-

Well, I'm currently voting Oman, and I've set out why. My gut is basically neutral on him (though it is to be noted that I more often get a firm town than firm scum feeling on him, just because normal Oman is so scummy).
I don't stand anywhere on the others. I have no interests in lynching them today.-

You are aware that you haven't actually voted for Kison?Oman wrote:I want anyone whose considering following my vote to know that I am in no way 100% (i.e. investigation) sure on Kison, its totally my passive insight kicking in (/D&D joke)
I'm still torn between Fonz and Oman. I guess Oman is looking more likely today, since he seems to be in almost everyone's top 2 (albeit with different people in most cases). I'm getting more of a town vibe from cicero lately, BT is ok, Jitsu is ok, not as sure about Kison but that's probably an issue for tomorrow.
Fonz: how does the scum strategy you mentioned in 961 affect the way you feel about Kison?"You were doing well until everyone died."
V/LA most weekends.-

Oman's point about Kison is certainly worthy of consideration, but he's still my best suspect and lynch preference at this point. I think there's a fairly good chance he's scum, and a potential Oman lynch would provide good information.
Kison's latest responses haven't made me feel any better about him, and I'm still trying to figure out what to make of Cicero's play today. I'm interested in his final analysis and where his vote is going to go.
I'll try to reread Day 3 and see if anything else stands out.
@Oman: You sound as if you are not completely happy with your vote on Kison. What is causing that feeling?
@Erg0: Why is Cicero giving you a town vibe lately?
