@mod How does the first elimination reset our post count or do we have 60 pages for both eliminations?

We also as a group we need to decide how long we need to eliminate for the first time, since the deadline is shared I think we should do it in 6 days, I think the second elimination should take less time.

As it is 60 pages per Phase, and Day One is a single phase, your 60 pages will be shared between both eliminations.

Awww never lucky.

6 days, 40 pages for the first elim.
4 days, 20 pages for the second elim.

I like this pacing myself but we can let assassin decide.

*Ahem*

I guess I'll do this anyway.
One of my abilities, is that if I correctly tell Cabd who is going to die during a day phase within the first 48 hours (I asked, either elimination will count this day phase) I get an unspecified bonus.

So if we could decide on one of two eliminations in the next 46ish hours that would be swell.

To be clear, they don't have to be eliminated within the next 48 hours.
I just have to PM Cabd the name of a player who is going to be eliminated this day phase within the first 48 hours.

(Just a general question to anyone who cares to think about it. I have already formed my own opinions about what this says for how scum is approaching the game at the moment.)
I wondered when I read this if the rng gods have been unkind to the scum team and they wound up without a powerful leader.

If you're right, then where do you think defenses have been mounted?

If I were a betting man and I didn't want to reveal this ability in particular that's what I would have sent out already Rider.

I wasn't suggesting any defenses are being mounted anywhere. It was a general question to get people thinking about what the situation is for scum if those two are scum (since they're rather likely to be gone today).

So "what would the other two be doing here, if that's pretty much a foregone conclusion?" is the question.

There are two obvious answers here that I can think of. a. they're apathetic and have basically given up apart from keeping up appearances, or b. they're going to turbo bus despite the risks associated with doing that.

If Caster is town we have a relatively laid back scum team.

Giving up though? With 4 people to keep each other's spirits up?
I think they would have replaced out if that were the case (not angle shooting, not encouraging). I just mean, this game is pretty fun and I don't blame them for not replacing out.

People can feel deflated without replacing out or even wanting to replace out. It's more a matter of mailing it in rather than outright giving up.

....It feels against my win condition not to further demoralize the scum team and I don't feel like giving a speech to encourage them if they're going to phone it in, lol.

Lancer's attitude switch was interesting, though it felt genuine somehow.
Let's go on shielder first and see how it pans out?

Pleased to meet you. Hopefully we can make this thing work together.

Actually, I've just had a flash of inspiration, and now is the best time for this while people are still coming off fresh reactions and looking for the flip. Are the people who are here willing to be around for the next 20 minutes? I've something I want to try that needs people's input.

Well, piss.

My sudden realization was that Avenger's overenthusiasm for getting voted Master made sense as a townie effort to scare mafia into thinking he had a particularly useful upgrade (on top of already being threateningly loud). My hope was that he would actually get it and flip town and we'd have the opportunity to go back and look at who townread Avenger but found excuses to not vote for him, as I imagine that would be a prime mafia approach to handling him. This possibility (combined with the general opportunity to decisively sort him) was worth the risk he might be mafia himself, so I pulled the trigger. Then it ended up not working out anyway.

I will probably go back and do this anyway, because it could still be useful info, but its impact is lessened by not having his alignment flipped. That investigation is not happening until at least tomorrow, though, as bed is rapidly approaching.

Pedit @Assassin: I can try to stick around, but no guarantees on length.

I want to hear from Berserker before we go too far in running someone up. We were close in our reads of the composition of the two top wagons. Assassin's flip makes me feel even more confident about those reads.

p-edit. I'm here.
