I posted here before, but no one responded to my idea. So I guess its interest is low.

Anyway, I have new idea. PLEASE RESPOND!!!!!!!
The idea is of an
"Adam Sandler"
mafia. It would be themed, obvivously. The characters would be drawn from all/most of his movies like the waterboy, happy gilmore, et al...
I am designing it for a theme mini (I know I'm not even on the list yet), but could make it a big game if enough interest is shown. If it is a big game, wolfie claimed to be my co-mod, if he still wants it.

That sounds interesting ..... so we would be playing the characters? Hmmm ... I can't think of any characters off hand that would be considered "evil" so I think it would be fun to play.

All the roles would be dervired from his movies, whether he was that role or not. In a big game, Scuba Steve (
Big Daddy
) is possible role. I probably wouldn't draw anything from SNL. He's been in 14 movies, thus there is a lot to choose from. So no Opera man or Cajun man. :cry: sorry
I'll start a poll later if anyone wants a movie specific adam sandler mafia or a general one.

I'm not really sure how this thread works...it's one of the few I haven't really kept up with on the site. In any case, I'm strongly thinking about running a time-travel mafia threequel, and I was trying to decide whether or not to make a mini theme or a full-sized game out of it. I'm trying to gauge how many people would be interested...it would definitely be more a game for those a fan of the theory of mafia and enjoy putting a decent amount of planning into the game.

It probably wouldn't be for a few months anyway.

I liked the idea of TT, I just didn't like some of the limitations of the way it was run. (Mostly the lack of rolerevealing) It'd depend on what if anything you did differently.

Okay, lukewarm support. Maybe I'll think about a mini then.

The lack of revealing is almost a necessity, unfortunately. Otherwise the town can end up filled with people who have already died and have verified innocent by the mod. So it would take a fairly drastic change in gameplay to avoid this...fortunately, I have a couple of ideas up my sleeve....

I'll definitely play Time Travel mafia.

I'll throw in one of my projects: One day I'll work out how to make Perpetual mafia work. Anyone crazy enough to help me with/play in that? :mrgreen:

okay I've got a game callrd townie mafia the only roles are townies.But the townies are part of one of two groups(Kinda Like The Somethin's and The McCoy's)
Townie1 or Townie2 and the groups are masons with each other' but unlike a mafia can't kill at night, only lynch. Now for the twist an even number of players aren't part of a group so the 2 groups are trying to convince them to vote one way.

School Mafia(Two Mafia groups:Administration and the Gangs; Students are townies; a mason group of nerds; some teachers with abilities...)

Hey, I'm thinking of running a Friends-themed game. I guess it would have to be a mini since I haven't modded before. Would anyone be interested? Has one been done before?

having said that, I might consider working on a family guy mafia. But you'll have to convince me.

Thinking about running something called Chaos in the Porn Industry mafia. Just a humorous tongue-in-cheek take on the game. This too rude and risque for the mafiascum crowd? :mrgreen:
