I feel like everyone is trying to drive their own reads without much thought to their actual charisma output. Which works for this day phase but still irks me. I want to go to the next day phase where this at least won't be a functional behavioral pattern.

8 am actually pretty certain this is a bluff because there is no way to confirm this, as scum you don't fear dying, faking a conversation isn't that hard and you can handwaive that you can't pull direct wording only give the general gist of what was said.

You are also smart enough to have realized as town that something was up when we asked about the hood and would have answered imo in another way than a flat no.
