They used a posting-gimmick in the start of the game, and they only recently broke that character and also revealed their main.

We could quasi-leash Nep.
I'm not even sure if that's a thing that works.

But if they want to actually help town, they'd first have to promise that they can actually produce a result/actions that can be confirmed and/or is visible to other players as well.
Then we'd discuss a pool of say three(?) players, and they can choose whichever of the three they like, or think their role fits the best for.
In the case where they aren't killed N1, we can discuss the result and whether or not anything happened to the three players in that pool.

This way we MIGHT be able to close out the scenario where scum!Nep can pick&choose an optimal scenario with their teammates, and we might force their hand in who to kill/block etc.
I have a good reason to think this might work out the best for us.

I thought about it like this (in the scenario of town!Nep):
* Scum can't still know exactly what Neps role is, meaning that they can't for certain know which of the three targets Nep is going for. And that might vary spectacularly depending on whether it's an investigative/protective/Vig etc.
Meaning that scum can't just kill their target unless it's with pure luck -> we likely wouldn't get the scenario of scum!Nep where their claimed target might just be dead in the morning etc
* I feel like this in turn might pressure scum into trying to kill/roleblock Nep instead (which, obviously, should be the likeliest course of action for them in the case of town!Nep)
Meaning that even a Bulletproof-Nep might potentially get something out of their role for the team.

Well, all of these pros are the same for town when we do not leash Nep at all, BUT the reason why I was thinking about it was because I do not fully (read: almost at all) trust them to be town.
And leashing/narrowing them even a little seems like a good option in the scenario of scum!Nep.
Plus our other potential PRs might have a better chance of choosing the same target for Tracks/Watching etc.
Meaning, again that scum!Nep has less room to work with if they want to straight up fakeclaim and lie a result tomorrow.

Dunno, it seems to make sense in my head. :lol:

Does it though? :?
I mean, they'd still have to "guess" a claim and action that isn't called out as a lie straight out of the gates.
Plus they still shouldn't have too much information on what the whole setup is like, so they might also scew up their claim in that regard.
