Let's put this to rest.

I've been playing casually since 2011, seriously since 2016. I'm a site administrator at MafiaUniverse.com.

Assertions that I'm new are incorrect as well as annoying, and I guarantee you that's NAI.

Yeah I don’t think someone of this experience level would be self-conscious like I was initially thinking, or feel much need to play defensively regarding mechanics

I think my feeling of weirdness re: Gamma is more that I didn't read Ampharos' post as self-conscious at all, and even if you assumed that she was new to mafia, I still wouldn't have read her posts as self-conscious, so calling them such seems off to me. Iirc there were several people calling Ampharos towny for outing the neighborhood, so it feels like this could be a shallow attempt to prevent her from becoming a universal TR, if that makes sense

hold on, i don't recall anyone townreading her FOR outing the neighborhood. except for me saying that it could be slightly towny. and that was after gamma voted Amy.

Sorry, I thought I remembered that happening but it was probably just general townreads as opposed to specifically for outing the neighborhoods. basically just remove [for outing the neighborhood] from my post and it should still make sense.

Did you have any response to what I said or was your intention just to question the veracity of my post?

And I don't particularly take issue with the first 2 lines. I think is actual current lack of presence is incredibly bizarre for him.
From a crowd analysis standpoint he also isn't under much if any pressure which just strikes me as odd for a field that should be full of scum?

Definitely something I hadn’t thought of - do you mean you’d expect a town!NM to be more low hanging fruit-y and that scum would be trying to drive or set up a miselim on him?

ugh. i'm gonna be light SRing Ampharos for the whole game, partly in reaction to the townreads she's accruing. what makes this difficult is she's working with a different site culture than what i'm used to. and her play looks high-level, which isn't AI but does always succeed in pressing the paranoia button.
i agree with her takes, i think. to echo her thoughts on Flavor Leaf, i need to see her really push something.

you know, I think I have to take a step back a bit on my ampharos read as well. I thought her presence in the beginning of the game was strong and initially townread her for that, but it’s dropped off a lot since then so she’s probably now close to null for me.

Why do I think its weak? Probably because it's the first wagon of the game so its not really built on anything that will give us info if we flip gamma right now.

See I think you’re taking the wrong approach if you’re town. Rather than just try to dismantle the wagon on me, draw out reasoning and stances from those that are voting me, that way if it does happen, at least it’s not for poorly defined reasons anymore

I wanted to get your take on why you think this is the case. Your explanation as to what your perspective on that could possibly give me further insight into your thought process.

SC says it’s because you’ve both been busy but your account in general has still been one of the most active in the game, so I would think if both of you were that busy, you would be posting less.

But if I’m misunderstanding what Cakez meant by engaging with the game, please feel free to clarify.

Posts like 633 and 634 seem very strange to me. In 633 you reference a response about meta as my possibly “not reading the game”, and in 634, a post where I call Gamma town prompts you to ask if you’re in our PoE? Yeah these kind of responses are kind of pinging me, especially 634.

Because we’re a hydra and we don’t want to confuse the game with multiple votes, especially if we are all not in unison on them. Hydra dissonance is one thing, confusing the hell out of the playerlist is another. I literally was in such a hydra where one head would vote, then the other would unvote, then revote. You get the picture. The rest of the playerlist was extremely unhappy about this.

Shiro was uncertain because he had townread FL in a game and been wrong but that was an extremely early read and he hasn’t said much on that since then but I’ll be more than happy to ask him eventhough 2/3 heads think he’s town.
