Keeping my vote on Grimmy won't do any good. He can't explain for OGML.
Do you not still think what OGML did was scummy?

Also, its the FOS's without the voting. Too easy to waffle around and decide who to vote then justify it with the FOS's.

I'll
vote: iamausername
then. He's my top suspect at this point.

I think OGML was scummy, yes, but not enough to be lynched. Votes have two purposes:

1. To lynch somebody.
2. To pressure somebody.

Pressuring Grimmy won't do any good because he can't speak for OGML, correct? And the fact that two people quickly hopped on the OGML wagon after me makes me think that he's likely not scum.

In other words, he kept attacking Oman even after the most recent case was proven to be moot. Seemed a lot like he was just trying to blend in, or buddy up to you, or something.

Also, he was the 3rd vote on the OGML wagon, though that doesn't mean much.

Maid murmurs. These people are nuts all of them. My poor employer is dead and they can't make a choice on anything.

Crazy 1 votes: (Grimmy)
iamausername 2 vote: (Goatrevolt, Crazy)
Grimmy 2 votes (iamausername, Mencellator)

Not voting

I still think OGML was suspicious and I wanted to pressure him, but now we won't be able to hear from him and I can't really take that suspicion any further after Grimmy's posts.

I am more focused on Oman. Not for any specific reason but because his arguments generally seem scummy throughout the day. I can't picture Goat being scum nor can I see him working with Oman, though we haven't heard from Goat in a while.

If Oman were to have a partner, I would suggest Crazy. They do seem supportive to each other, or at least Crazy seems quite supportive to Oman.

Unvote, Vote: Oman

I completely disagree with almost the entirety of what Grimmy said. I would say this game is not at all going to play out like town v. town. The town wants to lynch scum, the SK and mafia both do not care who gets lynched as long as it's not them. Those are two completely different motivations for actions and thus we will be still be able to determine who is scum based on their actions. Is the scum going to try to blend in as town, of course. It's the same as any other mafia game. Trying to paint this game as a completely different form of mafia and then use it as a basis to toss suspicion around is enough for me to
FoS Grimmy
.

I'm still happy with my vote on Iamusername, and would also support switching to Sktizer if others wanted to go that way. Grimmy/OGML as of yet hasn't said enough for me to be willing to lynch him.

Agreed. In a normal game, the lynching process matters more to the mafia then nightkilling, so the absence of nightkills doesn't change it much or make it a 'Town vs. Town' game at all.

Can I also make the note that while the mafia is trying to remove the SK, they don't really care when. They have a large voting block, but the SK can take them out in a day or two, so their trade off is one of mutual caution.

I agree with the gut = bad thing.

I think we should stop discussing whether the mafia wants the SK dead today or not.

What the hell? Where was it "pretty much proven" what Oman meant? Because I still have no idea what "it's a number of votes thing" is supposed to mean, or how the fuck Oman saying "armlx is now anti-OGML, which sucks, because it means a wagon forms" can possibly not be sayng that armlx caused the wagon to form.

Oman, in post #262:
Oman wrote:I said: "Its a number of votes thing..." meaning that if you'd voted, as you implied that you would, then you would be responsible for forcing my reread.

If someone else did, then they would be responsible.
I think that should have ended the discussion.

Just a reminder. Deadline is August 17th. If you do not reach a majority choice by deadline there is a no lynch.
Thank you.

I take back what I said here:
iamausername wrote:Also thinking it's likely that non-Crazy/Oman scum (ie. the SK) is coasting by and letting Oman & Goat keep all the attention, which I'm seeing signs of in OGML and alvinz (but not so much skitzer).
skitzer
is
just as bad for this as his predecessor.

Unvote, Vote: Crazy
. Grimmy doesn't seem to be, however, although it's probably too early to tell.

Yeah, it probably would have read better if I'd stuck the vote change in a more logical place.
