I agree it raises the chances, but I'm merely saying the two are not tied.

Proposition: People are very often idiots in non-deliberate ways.

Oh, yes, people are idiots.

But I'm not sure I see your argument. Idiotic things are equally likely done by town and scum too. Anything that raises the chances of someone being scum is
by definition
a scumtell. That's what a scumtell is.

My point is merely that there are anti-town actions in which the number of people who do them out of stupidity outnumbers the amount that do them with intent that the tell is practically null.

Disagree. Even if it were true, if people are allowed to get away with antitown actions because they might just be stupid then it's bad for the town.

Not all actions, just some specific ones.

EBWODP: Dice-random voting or refusing to random vote comes to mind (though I do often vote people who do that).

I've refused to random vote before. Anything that draws reactions and can get you out of the random stage gets a <3 from me. I've self-voted in the RVS before for just that reason.

This really is getting into semantics and doesn't really have any effect on the game, does it?

I'm interested. Can you explain?
Sure. Usually, I don't go after lurkers if I think I have a case on someone.

But on this game, only half of the players are
actively
playing. It's annoying me to the point that I'm starting to want to lynch them more than I want to lynch the person I find scummy, just because that would make it a more interesting game.

I suspect most people put under the spotlight are going to become more active, though, Claus.

Ah, ok. I was confused by your wording.

I suppose. Lynching and threatening to lynch unless they shape up are two different things. :-)

Sure, but usually lynching from 0 votes implies at least giving them a chance to respond if they want.

UA's playing as his usual self

Ok The Jester, Jester replaced in on Page 15, he hasnt really posted anything major and very little with analysis in it. He comes in votes for the favourite wagon then leaves. I think Jester should be someone to look at.

I don't know. I feel like we have enough information to lynch him, but it's just kind of...sitting there.

I mean Ill be honest I was expecting to have been lynched by now. I am not going to self lynch because that would be unfair to my side. But I was expect someone to by now...

Yes. And I was waiting to hammer so that Nightson could produce the promised re-read... and will hammer him today regardless...

Incidentally, the fact that Poro says 'my side' and not 'the town' indicates to me he is indeed the right lynch.
