Newbie Game List - Old Thread, Locked

Umm.. I didn't find a better thread for this, so I'll ask here. It seems a bit that our mod in Newbie 654 has maybe disappeared or somehing. The last player was supposed to have until tuesday to confirm. Well, it's friday now. The thread is still locked and in all ways the same as it was on sunday. What should I do? Could someone kindly replace IH as a mod or do I just sign for another game?

I've spoken to IH, who was having access problems earlier this week. He said he was back and on the job, though, so I expect you'll get a slew of 'replacements' for anyone who hasn't confirmed yet, and then the game will start. If you don't hear from him by the end of Sunday, let me know.

Also, this 42- guy here (below) is my friend. He'd better be in the same game with me. And we know the rules about not being allowed to talk about the game outside the thread (unless it's night and we're both mafia / masons), so don't worry about that.

I understand your request, but at this time I'd feel more comfortable starting the two of you in different games. We've had problems with cheaters before, and I wouldn't want either of you to taint your first game(s) with that allegation. Easier to avoid it altogether.

I see. Well... The only reason I'm here and not going for the bigger games is that I wanted to play with him (42-). I got introduced to this game on other forums that I use (here for example), and I'd like to play my first game so that there are people that I know somehow, so I might as well see if the people on those forums are going to be starting any new games soon. I just feel uncomfortable around complete strangers, even in the (semi-)anonymity of the Internet, and especially since English isn't my first language (which

does

cause problems sometimes).

So yeah, as it is now, you should disregard my previous post. I might still play a game here if it would take too long for the people on those other forums to start a game, but I'll get back to that later.
