Also, you're not seriously suggesting that 'also' is a sign of nervousness? Because that's laughable. It isn't, not even slightly.

Besides, I use also in probably 75% of my posts. It helps indicate when you have another point to bring up.

Also, you do realise that protown players can get nervous of being lynched as well, especially if they are newbies?

Also,

What if the mafia has already posted, BM? And the power roles haven't?
And why Panda for the lynch and not someone else?

because obviously you're totally serious about this.

Ace and Septia are the only ones who haven't checked in, which, assuming the standard 3 scum, means at least one mafia has already been here and had a chance to send in a kill. For that reason, I don't think BM's plan will work anymore.

I still think it was a good thing though, since it got the game moving.

I'll reread tomorrow and find something more solid to vote for.

Honestly, I was enjoying the mindless bandwagonning. But then I started thinking about how I'd been playing and realized it was totally irresponsible.

You may have told me the same thing earlier but at that point I wasn't really listening.

I understand Wall-E needs to claim, we can't just let him get away with softclaiming, but I don't want to vote for him anymore.

SleepyPanda wrote:You want to try something else that's quite fun? Getting lynched! You'll get a thrill like no other!
Thank you but I've tried it and it's not to my taste.

Spyre-x

What happened was that I was struggling with two different impulses between 6-9. I knew, logically, that quicklynching is bad for town and that I should therefore be against it.
On the other hand, I really enjoy doing random crazy things and BM's plan seemed like it would deliver lols. And if it worked, it would be really cool,

I resisted that side of me and tried to be sensible for a while but my self control snapped. Essentially, since then I've just been doing whatever I thought would be funniest. But when Wall-E was actually forced to claim, I realised all that reckless behaviour was endangering my sides chance of winning. Feeling remorseful, I tried to back off.

Now, I can see how my trollish behaviour might make you think you'd be better off without me but I can and will play better than this, given the chance.

It's not so easy because I just started posting here a few weeks back after a long absence. It used to happen all the time but those games seem to have been purged from the archives.

I did find this:

Sup Guys!

I'm going to be voting Empking for this post:
Empking wrote: He's admitted that he plays in an anti-town manner so lynching him seems to be a win whatever he turns up as (as long as it isn't a power role, but he'd claim)
Which seems to me like he is preparing his defence for when I flip town. Clearly, he will say I deserved it for acting like an idiot. While that might be slightly true, it won't change the face that you'll be down one protown member and Empking will have helped to kill me.

I also think Cass is a hypocrite since she bandwagons just as much as I do, just more quietly. She may well be scum also.

And spyre-x, it seems to me, was far to quick to jump on me. I'd call him oppurtunistic scum as well.

Vote:Empking

If I thought you'd found scum, I would, but your case on Donkey seems to be based on him repeating something I said which you think is scummy. Since I don't think calling someone a good sport is scummy, I don't think Donkey is scummy. (I would like to hear more from him though.)

As for Cerebus I still don't really understand what your case is based on there.

What do you think of my empking vote?

I really don't think you can retract your kill and even if you can, you shouldn't. Even if there's a doctor in the house, they'll most likely protect Wall-E so you are now number one choice for a nightkill. For that reason, I'd use your power while you can.

Why do I care? That's a weird question. Lying about your role if you're town is bad because you're risking being counter-claimed by a real power role. Also, it makes it hard to trust you.

And if you're scum, it's just dumb.

In either case, I kind of like playing with you so I do want you to be lynched/nightkilled at the moment.

I've reread Cerebus, I still don't see it. I see him getting annoyed at your attacks but that's a null-tell, I'd say, and the rest of his play is fairly sensible.

You try Empking now.

Spyre-x; you find me scummy for coming to my senses and backing away from a bad lynch?

Why are the people who didn't back away less scummy?

This bandwagon is baseless. My behavior has been reckless maybe but not at all indicative of scum. You'd be better served by looking at the people voting for me, some of which also voted for Panda and Wall-E beside me and are therefore shameless hypocrites.

God, this is so annoying!

I really think the entire case on me is idiotic. Scum players do not act the way I've been acting. I don't care if you say it's wifom, scum don't like attention so they would never do the things that I've been doing.

So I bandwaggoned a few people, so what? So did most of the town. The only difference is I was honest about my reasons for doing so and for this honesty you are going to kill me.

Why can't you see that it is the people who bandwagon without advertising it that are the dangerous ones? I am simply their latest target of opportunity.

Why did I decide to mess around?

I blame BM. His enthusiasm for the quicklynch was contagious.

I liked wagonning you, it was fun and Wall-E had said some strange things so wagonning him seemed the best next step.

But outing a powerrole is not fun.

It might seem illogical to you but only if you assume that my actions are always sensible.

I don't see how my actions would benefit scum. Bandwagonning maybe yes, but bandwagonning while loudly announcing what you're doing, not so much.

M4yhem, you sound more and more desperate.
It's hypocritical of you to vote me for jumping on and off bandwagons when you have jumped on and off
the exact same
bandwagons yourself.

How can you condemn me for voting for the same people as you for the same reasons?

Besides, changing my mind is not a scumtell.

And I sound desperate because I am desperate. I don't want to have to leave this game, I liked the setup and I've been waiting for it to start for ages. Besides, I know I am the wrong lynch so anything I can think of that might stop you killing me, I will say.
SpyreX wrote:

That was a real quick turnaround you had from being initially opposed to it to wanting to quicklynch. Also, avoiding the fact so many people had chimed in saying it was a bad idea (once Panda's stalled) really puts that in question.
So I changed my mind, big deal. I’ve always been told a quicklynch is bad for town. However, BM reminded me that the setup is different, so a quicklynch might be useful here. Listening to other people is not a scumtell.

As for the people who chimed in later, they weren’t very convincing.
SpyreX wrote:

We were ONE away from killing a power-role and you asked for a hammer before a claim - you can't see how that would benefit scum?
I can see how a hammer on an unclaimed powerrole would help scum. What I can’t see is how asking openly for a hammer on an unclaimed powerrole would help me if I was scum.

I did it because I thought it was funny.

I'm not a bad scum player, I'd say average. If you had bothered to read the game I showed you, you'd know that.

I think the risk is good if it gives us a chance to catch scum. You don't know if any of the other players are scum either and you keep them around.
