Hey guys - nothing pops up from memory and and I can't find anything on a google or youtube search. Could someone tell me who "Mr. Vibrating" is/was in Monty Python? Link perhaps?

Because I know he's in this game but I can't imagine what his power/allignment would be...and I dont see anyone with a post restriction that would match the role.

I'm not going to back down from this because all of a sudden out of the blue you mention a character you say is in this game yet you claim to know nothing about the role/person. What bothers me is that you brought this out of the blue, so explain yourself.

I think there should be less speculation about power roles.

I'm not really looking for speculation on a powerrole, I'm looking for opinions on Spryex's post. i.e., do you think he's telling the truth about being visited, and if not, what reason do you think he'd have to lie about it.

Mirth seems to be leaning towards him lying, I'm wondering what everyone else thinks.

I think more truthfully that you are trying to put pressure on me to roleclaim because you believe I have a night ability that may reveal roles, something very dangerous for scum.

No, I think you're trying to out someone by playing the "lets name random characters from Monty Python sketches and see if anyone bites" game and when no one does setting yourself up for a fake claim.

Some of what people are saying is a reach here, but knowing something is in a setup is indeed bizarre. How could you know that? Also

When one asks for discussion shouldn't one be willing to give there own opinion first? Do you think SpyreX should say his target? Do you believe him?

I'll have a big post up with my view when work ends or after drinking tonight. My lunch is about to end at work right now.

Yeah, you caught me Mirth. Gosh darn your amazing super sleuth skills. That's exactly what I was doing.
I picked the most obscure character in an obscure Monty Python sketch and asked for a link. I was planning on doing that about 10-20 more times before finally someone said "Hey, that's my role" and then they would have fallen into my cleverly devised scumtrap.

And, just as you suspected - I was also researching a possible fakeclaim to use later so I figured I'd ask, on the 2nd day of the game, who a character was and ask for a link so I could claim it later.

Drats foiled again [/end sarcasm]

I really don't think strapp is doing this.
Strapp you kind of set yourself up by asking the question you did and not expecting people to question you when you bring something like that up. I don't see Mirth as role fishing in this regards.

Can't be too obscure if I was able to call that one off the bat. And I'm honestly not even that big of a Python fan.

You brought it up without prompting or reason *after* you complained about K7 and Pokerface omitting something. So what are *you* omitting and why?

Pokerface: if I thought he should name his target I would have asked already. I don't know if I buy it. All seems too convenient.

Said I'm not sure if I do. Darla wasn't lying. And he claimed the exact role that dead-confirmed Darla has. How is that just something to write off? The power of the role he suggested he was targeted by also seems far fetched (unless there is something rather limiting there). So I'm not going to buy his claim yet because it seems unlikely that there would be 2 French taunters with identical powers and different alignments *and* there would be some kind of supercop who can find out *everything* about his target. Now answer my question.
