If you vote him and find his reaction to be scummy, you'll keep your vote on and keep pressuring him. There's no way to know beforehand whether that will happen or not, so town can't say how long their vote will be on someone.

If you know you'll only be voting him for a little while, that's because you're scum, and you just think you should move your vote around.
