Bab was the first to be suspicious of dcorbe. Followed by IH. Then SL. It's only after all of them point out reasons why dcorbe is scummy that you vote.

I disagree with the term. Turning 180 means a genuine change of view. I see no reason why I shouldn't interpret it as you playing along with the crowd. A number of people have dropped you on their scumlist because your recent posts took on a more 'reasonable' opinion.

If thats how you see my play, then thats fine. I'd like to think that I've done a pretty decent job of saying who I think is scum and why I think that is. I've also read into the play between people and, based on that, how I think thats going to affect the game on D2 and beyond.

If you're saying everything I've done is just agreeing or disagreeing (which, oddly enough, would be that whole discussion element of the game) and not bringing up any points of my own well.. can't help ya.

means

to help you find scum. The point of discussion is not to agree/disagree with others, it's to look for scum. If all you had to do is agree/disagree, then we could all do that by just voting, no need to discuss.

What I'm saying is that I'm not just agreeing / disagreeing. I've found my own reasons in conjunction with what others may have found and, based on that, voting due to what I've found. I've really not been a me-too or led by others.

But, if we look at it differently we do.

It's not the agreeing/disagreeing I have a problem with. It's the fact that you're only looking at the easy targets. You don't strike me as trying very hard to find scum.

I'm not advocating looking at people who are not in the spotlight just because. I'm saying that you didn't strike me as genuine.

Yea... we do have a very bad time with semantics.

I've tried to look at everyone. So far, even though we've been goin back and forth, I get the town vibe. Same with IH and Shadow. Gimbo and PEG are kinda free-agents. DC / Zeek / Bnb feel very scummy with caveats* that I talked about before. I know I'm town.

So, I have tried to look at everyone. I honestly think DC is scum and he hasn't done anything to really make me think otherwise.

I DO understand what you've been saying about the spotlight, but I think that's just coincidental...or the fact that people talking more give more for me to read on and, day 1, I'm not going to hunt lurkers.

Alrighty, this is just going to be a summation, since i've laid it out and pretty much nothing has changed.

In early game, both Kamikaze and Shelby had some very bizarre and scummy actions. In both of them getting replaced, it got kind of pushed to the side. After reading that, I really am convinced that one of them, but probably not both is scum.

That explains the DC / BnB scumminess. In reading, I think that DC's actions have been scummier than BnB's so that's why he's my lynch choice for today.

Now, with the way the whole game has went, I do not think anyone is bussing a scum partner. So, if I am RIGHT about DC, then PEG and BnB are most likely not scum. However, Zeek has a much higher chance based on his interaction.

If I am WRONG about DC, then I think it is BnB and much more likely PEG.

So, If I was to rank them (which is hard to do because there is quantifers) it would be something like:

DC
Bnb
Zeek
PEG

Aside from them, I wonder about a PEG - IH link but, overall, I think IH is town. Despite our quarrels, I think you are town and I'm pretty sure Shadow is as well. Gimbo is kind of up in the air.

(This all can change, nothing is set in stone but it would take some large amount of convincing for me not to believe DC is scum).

Dcorbe: Claim right now. Cut the soft-claim bullshit. I personally hates soft-claims and think they're anti-town. (most of time. Crazy theme games, I can soft-claiming being pro-town)

My tone was annoyance because I hate when people do that: They are gone for a period of time and come back and OBVIOUSLY have read the thread, but then they ask questions to make it sound like they didn't.

He addresses the dc soft claim (and dc still hasn't said a word since it was brought back up) and he quotes something I said pages ago, but then he also acts like "oh hey, I was gone, I don't know anything that happened, do I need to answer anything?" ... why? Why put on the act? You read it, if you could pick out small stupid things like what I said why couldn't you pick out things directed at you?

Also I've found that in previous games people who attack other people for "knowing the set up" (especially when the person being attacked has not done anything to demonstrate that they actually do know the set up) - the people who are attacking are usually scum.

Hence why I immediately voted for BnB.

This happened in 533 for a bit where I (a townie) was attacked for "knowing how many mafia there were" (because I suggested there were 3 and we would be in LyLo the next day) - the people attacking me for "knowing" turned out to be the anti-town roles (and the actual set up was 2 scum and 1 SK).
