I don't agree with Mac's speculation that Yos is probably town. I don't want to take the chance that Yos might actually be scum/ third party. Jenter could have went after a protected role or something that deflects the night action or attack back at the attacker. Now I don't know what role that could be, but I wouldn't mark Yos as probable town.

Actually, I think it works to our advantage if I don't keep this to myself.

Not going to fully claim, but at night, I am able to find out two random rules. I may or may not have other night actions.

Anyway, I did this last night, and was told rule 14, exactly as it appears in the thread, and rule 29, which says that a count of the number of town/scum/third party players left alive will be appearing along with each vote count, and that we can trust this count to be accurate.

So, there are presumably at least 7 rules (22-28) that we don't yet know.

...And now I notice that the day started with a vote count, and yet there's no town/scum/other count to be seen. So maybe the rule isn't at the start of the thread because it doesn't apply yet. Or maybe there will be one in the next vote count. Hmm.

Well then. It appears that that part of my role is now entirely useless. Except possibly to verify myself if/when rule 29 does show up.

I just got a gut feeling that knowing whether or not our votes/ night actions will drop one person down may make a pretty big difference, and since I get the feeling that that would matter, I'd like to know.

Hmm...so the voting seems to stay the same. But I find it very interesting the last rule...no one really expected that I would think, must have been how Jenter killed himself. I really think that the scum was trying to kill the person above Jenter, which I'm guesssing was Yosarian. I tryed to look back, but I couldn't find the old list.

Suggest an alternate meaning for the kill flavor "hoist by own petard?" If Yos were some kind of scum or SK, where did his kill go? I agree that there's a small chance something weird happened, but odds are scum tried to kill Yos, which would make him town. The chance that something else might have happened is why I label him "probable town" over "confirmed town."

Definitely was Yos - look back at our early efforts to figure out the voting. Yos->Jenter was one of our early deductions.
