Sorry, due to certain real-life circumstances, I've had limited access here for a bit. I've been reading, so I'm completely up with it, but I haven't had much time to post. I'll try and give a bit of content to the discussion tomorrow.Apologies
I abandoned this place out of stress about 6 months ago. I let a lot of people down in doing so. I am starting afresh, I will not join more than 2 games at a time and I will definitely not be modding a game in the foreseeable future.-

And you havent destroyed them for me. The Alvinz-Elias connection is IMO very powerful. The only problem is that you're good at scum and that you'll always have an excuse but meh, time will tell.
One question, when did Alvinz stop being town for you?
Just curious, am I still scum?Call me Tajo.

I'm good at defense. I reduce things to nulltells. I do this as town and scum. I'll always have an excuse because no case is ever truly that strong in the game of mafia if you know how to manipulate perception. Thats just how I play, get used to it.populartajo wrote: The only problem is that you're good at scum and that you'll always have an excuse but meh, time will tell.
I'd have to go reread to pinpoint a certain time or post number. I was out of the game for long periods of time so its not like I saw all of his posts as they happened, but all of them at once as I read through, so no in depth analysis of posts as they came. I'll get to rereading eventually.populartajo wrote: One question, when did Alvinz stop being town for you?

You are slightly wrong about this. Alvinz had the need to claim because he was under pressure, which had a lot to do with this roleblocker incident that Skruffs brought up. The claim simply pushed him over the line (as confirmed scum).iamausername wrote:
alvinz was lynched because he claimed a role that was guaranteed not in the game. The roleblocker thing might have had a slight indirect influence on the buildup to that, but I'd hardly say it was a major factor. And if alvinz had been paying attention, he had a perfectly good excuse for thinking there was a mafia roleblocker - it's in the possible roles listed at the start of the thread. If he could come up with that, you've got some good distancing down, and neither of you come out of it badly. If he couldn't, you're probably better off bussing him.Skruffs wrote:I pointed out that Alvinz had information about the mafia having a roleblocker, which led to him being lynched.
Skruffs' behaviour was very odd yesterday. However, I don't think it was odd in a scummy way, simply odd in an odd way. I think that this connection case between him and alvinz is ok, but not exactly great. I'm more interested in Elias currently.Apologies

I thought it was the belief of the cop and doc claims that got alvinz deadified. I'm not comfortable with a Skruffs lynch today. I don't see the connections between him and alvinz.Show"So I went to the librarian in the biology section and asked her if she could find me a map of the cat." -Richard Feynman

This is exactly how I saw it. The obvious fake claim sealed it, but why did he have to claim? Because he had more knowledge than he should've.Matt_S wrote:I thought it was the belief of the cop and doc claims that got alvinz deadified. I'm not comfortable with a Skruffs lynch today. Okay.
Eloas: your post was very concillatory; you demand a case against you but claim you will be able to reduce any/all cases to nulltells. This bothers me for the most part because it excuses you from having to make cases, if you extend that line of thought a bit furtheer. So, counter your own argument and form a case against someone or get ready for something you can't nulltell away: my vote.
Populartajo basically just claimed mafia, in other news.....-

Also, I meant to ask earlier, Skruffs; when you placed alvinz as top three scummiest, what was your reasoning for doing so? Why did you find him suspicious at that time?Elapsam semel occasionem non ipse potest Iuppiter reprehendere-

I think I understand where you're coming from, but I don't know how you got to the conclusion that Elias wouldn't try to make cases.Skruffs wrote:Eloas: your post was very concillatory; you demand a case against you but claim you will be able to reduce any/all cases to nulltells.
