I think Shoshin has intentionally restrained herself as scum to keep space for her town meta and if this is her last game for a long time I think that she will do essentially anything to win it.
I acknowledge that others are townreading the trust-telly stuff but I don't see it as particularly trust telly because I don't think it's actually true that she wouldn't be doing this as scum.

This is really hard to do justice to because most of it is based off of conversations I've had with Shoshin external to mafia in general but I think that her scumplay limits have always far exceeded what she was willing to put into a game, even in the last game which became her first win, because of how it would effect her town play. I think that this being her last game bets are all off and she'd 100% play way beyond her prior games as scum.

Does this in and of itself make her scum? No. I'm not 100% sure either way right now. I think that just saying that we should lynch her if she's alive to 3 way without having won is a pretty good sol'n to this issue.

Shoshin scum definitely does not post the ultimatum that she did. Plus she is very much playing to her town meta of not lurking. NSG is a player with the same type of meta. Transparently scum by activity alone.

Shoshin scum definitely does not post the ultimatum that she did. Plus she is very much playing to her town meta of not lurking. NSG is a player with the same type of meta. Transparently scum by activity alone.

This is a really bad way to read NSG, she can pump out postcount if she wants to and sometimes lurks as town but there's a ton of stuff that she can't do.
I think that you're badly oversimplifying Shoshin.
