Rules:


(blantantly stolen and altered from Mastermind of Sin who stole them from bloojay who stole them from discer who stole them from Werebear who stole them from Meme)

1. "Nights" will last 72 hours. The deadline will be posted. If you need an extension, just tell me, I might need one someday myself.

2. "Days" will last no longer than 3 weeks. If discussion lags, I will impose an earlier deadline. If discussion picks up, the deadline will be rescinded. Aren't I the nice one??? (the correct answer is... NO)

3. Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. If you are not counted, you do not exist.

4. There is no rule 4. Muahahaha.

5. Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life. At deadline, the first player to have reached at least half majority (assuming there is a tie) will constitute a lynch. Otherwise, there will be no lynch. At 4 or less players, deadline rules do not apply. Majority is needed for a lynch.

6. No lynches are allowed, they require the same votes as a lynch.

7. The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so. You button your lip, or I button it for you.

8. Once your death scene has been posted, unless you're not dead, you’re dead. You will be told if you're not dead. Once your dead please DO NOT POST until the game is over. I will allow one "BAH!" post, as long as it contains no pertinent information.

9. Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. No matter what stupid thing you've done. Why can't you just THINK? I mean, come on!

10. Don’t quote any PMs or e-mails from me, lest I kill you.

11. If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. If you miss a deadline, no choice will be made. This usually involves you being very unhappy.

12. If you're going to be gone any amount of time, let everyone know.

13. The mod is god. Any mistakes such as inaccurate vote counts are obviously YOUR mistake. Please point out your mistakes so I can correct them. And if I ask you to eat play-doh, you say "WHAT COLOR, MOD!?". Sacrifices of small woodland animals accepted.

1) I expect you all to do your best to roleplay the characters you've been given. They have a personality, and they have certain quirks, and I want you to roleplay that. If you have more you'd like to add to your character to give them another dimension, just pm me for approval first.

2) There may be items that become available throughout the game. If they are available, the first person to pm me about grabbing the item will receive it. Not every player is able to receive items, so people that pm me and cannot pick up an item will not count.

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose.... The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of time.

But it was a beginning.

Just kidding...


There was a wind, though. This was the wind of fear, and it carried throughout the kingdom of Ealuard, carrying with it terrible news. King Donovan has gone missing, and the kingdom is in shambles without him. With his brother, Gerrard, having gone missing years before, Ealuard cannot bear to have another beloved...well, not quite beloved, but respected (I mean, what kind of person won't let people have children because of "overpopulation"?)...king disappear from the land. The last order King Donovan gave before his disappearance was to find a group of twelve travelers and apprehend them, for among them were some of those who threatened the safety of the kingdom. Now, whether or not they had anything to do with King Donovan's disappearance is yet to be seen, but this news has reached a certain party of twelve travelers deep within the heart of Ealuard. You fear that you are the ones they seek, and you decide that instead of having the lot of you captured, you would just root out the dissenters and kill them. So, you've decided to use an old method from history. Back when other Kingdoms had their kings die or go missing, they had a member of the Secret Society of Kingmakers (now we know what MafiaSSK stands for!) select a new king each day to decide the death of one person. No, that wouldn't work. It would not do to put the power of death in the hands of one person. What if that person happened to be working against us all? So you decide that a majority vote will decide who dies each die, and a half majority will kill someone if it is getting dark, at which point you will all retire to separate resting places until the next day. This will continue until you have rooted out all assailants from within your party. Good luck!

As the players of these characters, you have license to develop the specifics of your character. As everyone gets to know each other and discuss their situation, they here a commotion outside. Peering out the window, they see a royal messenger riding into the town square. His livery shows that he came from the palace itself, and he begins belting out his message to all who will listen. "I bear a message from the capital! In the absence of the King, it has been decided that the Crown Prince will serve in his stead until he is located. There will be a reward in gold for anyone who knows the whereabouts of his hunting party, which has been gone adventuring for the past year. If you have any such information, please inform the local Magistrate, who will pay you the reward." Having finished his message, the man rides off to the next town, not even stopping to hydrate himself or his horse.

Upon further consideration, I have decided that days in this game will last up to 3 weeks, instead of the original two. I feel that this will accommodate role-playing a bit more while still being a reasonable length. All future days will also have a maximum deadline of three weeks. The theme of this universe is a mixture of all types of fantasy (Medieval, magical, space, etc). However, the kingdom you are in currently resembles Gondor from Lord of the Rings, except what technology gets brought in from other places. It's not that they don't know such technology exists, but that they choose not to use it.

I was informed about ABR's pm to The Fonz quite some time ago, and I see no infraction worthy of serious punishment. In the future, I'd like requests like that to be brought to me, however, and I will prod the player in question. Regardless, ABR has done nothing against the spirit of the game.

As the day winds down, the travelers decide that someone needs to be eliminated. After a while, they decide that Zacharias Lord could very well be working against them, since he didn't say much throughout the day. So they take him out into the woods, carrying his struggling figure between them. One person rigs up a noose, and they perform the deed solemnly. After his struggling stops, they think to search his pockets and find a few mechanical parts. Confused, you go through his bag of tools and discover that his method of creating "monsters" was to assemble mechanical creations that passed as living creatures. Despite his gentle personality, Lord was a complete fraud. Unfortunately, you can find no evidence that he had done anything wrong besides lie about his profession.

The remaining travelers wake up from a long night, anxious to get back to work. However, the a greeted with a gruesome scene...or two. On the floor in the main room lies the body of
L/Dan Lester
, crumpled in a heap. Apparently he was stabbed in the back by a tool grabbed out of Lord's bag, which was cleaned off and replaced. His spinal cord had been damaged, and he had lain there overnight, slowly drowning in a pool of his own blood. You search his body and find nothing. However, someone takes his jacket off and sees a "V" stitched inconspicuously under the collar. It occurs to one of you that V represents the mysterious Voichek Organization, so you guess he was one of their secret agents, working to find out who was responsible.

In the corridor you find another body. To your horror, it is the fragile frame of

. She has had her head nearly severed completely. However, upon closer inspection, you see that not all was as it seemed with Gabby. Those of you who can stomach getting close to her notice that her anatomy inside the wound is not quite...human. You inspect her and find a small silver disk, with a button on the side. One of you presses the button, and you see someone who looks like they could be Gabby's brother appear in some sort of hologram. He looks as sickly as she did, and his face is sad but retains some shred of hope. "I hope that whoever finds this will find Gabby alive. She is quite ill, as is my entire race. I represent the planet Lavone. We are a peaceful planet, but a terrible illness has befallen our people. We cannot find a cure, so Gabby has been sent to find one for us. Please help us quickly, it would be horrible if you did not." His features look angry for a moment, and you hear another voice from off-screen. "Hurry it up already! They get the idea!" He looks off to the side, anger intensifying. "You stay out of this. This is our last chance, so I don't care how long it takes!" Morning rolls around slowly, the air outside filled with a sad mist, and our travelers wake with a sense of foreboding. They look around, and a cursory inspection reveals mneme, his throat slit from ear to ear. His body is propped up against a tree in the back of the building, and it seems that he hasn't been disturbed in any way other than his death. You search his room, and you find medical supplies packed neatly in cases. You also find a locket with a picture of a beautiful young woman, worn down as if it had been carried for quite some time. You can't find anything else, so you can only assume that he was working to protect people against the killings. Distraught with this loss, the rest of you return to the common room to discuss your next move.

The golden-red sun drops over the horizon, and our harried travelers debate over their decision for the day. A few hours before dark, four of the travelers decide Autumn is behind these heinous crimes, and they gang up on her. Despite her protests of "I'm just a young girl, I don't have any interest in killing people!", the travelers decide she must be the next to go. Despite the fact that she had...pleasured...several of the travelers over the last few nights, her time was up. A few members of the party had their way with her one more time, but then they dragged her to the tree where Eldred was hanging. Tying her to the trunk, they decided to execute her by using her as target practice. Each of them would get a shot at her, and if she was still alive by the time they finished, she could go free.

Hiram steps up, drawing the bow back fully, taking his time to line up his shot. It whizzes through the air, coming to a quick stop as it sticks quivering in the trunk, just centimeters from Autumn's head. Gloria grabs the bow, and she easily draws it back for her shot. The arrow takes Autumn in the abdomen, causing her to scream out in pain, but no one except the other travelers is around to hear her. Gloria hands off the bow to Norton, who takes a quick, off-balance shot at Autumn. It flies through the air, completely missing the tree and disappearing into the undergrowth. Sighing, Norton gives up the bow to Zilla, who somehow manages to hold onto it despite being unable to use her legs. Zilla slowly lowers herself to the ground, sitting up to face the target. Carefully drawing back for her shot, Zilla lets the arrow fly. It arcs upward, a high trajectory for such a short distance. The arrow comes down toward Autumn, who lets off a scream of terror. Her voice gets cut short in a gurgle of blood as the arrow pierces her lung. She twitches for a minute or two but quickly bleeds out and is pronounced dead by the travelers. By this time the sun has nearly set, so they hurry back to check out her room before it's too dark to see. You search everywhere for hidden compartments and broken floorboards, but the only thing you find in her room is some very small lingerie. It seems she was telling the truth after all, and the few of you that are left sadly make your way back to your own rooms for the night.

Two bloody corpses lie on the floor as the sunlight of Day 4 rolls into the main room. Behind the bar is Gloria Berkheimer, her throat slit deftly from behind. It seems she was making herself a drink when the assassin caught her unawares. Slumped in a chair nearby is Norton Fylbrigg, his books stacked neatly beside them as if the killer did not wish to disturb them.

A quick search of Gloria's room reveals everyone's worst fears. Despite the fact that she worked for Zacharias Lord, she was unhappy about the way others treated her, and it seems she had decided to take up killing people as a past-time. Several weapons are found hidden in her room, and a slender knife is stuffed down her bodice.

The search through Norton's room takes much longer, as books are strewn everywhere. The one surprising thing is a giant cage hidden in his closet, that looks like it has been used recently. A few of you cringe at the site of it, but no one is paying enough attention to notice. It seems that our delusional friend really was working against the killers in the group.

The final few of you wake up on this fateful morning. One of you does not. As the survivors warily make their way down to the common room, they notice Hiram Buehler lying on the floor, or at least what they assume is him. His head has been cut off, and he was stabbed in the back several times. Lying on his chest is another interesting item, a hand blaster. With the hand blaster around, you suddenly recognize who Hiram Buehler is, one of the best space fighter pilots in the galaxy, a tragic figure fighting against the cruelty of his country's government. You take a second to mourn him even though he was killing your fellow travelers, but it doesn't take long before you get back to business.

Theo and Doron carry off Zilla's body into the woods and bury it. Satisfied that they finally rid themselves of the killers, they head back to check out her room. When they search it, though, they can't find anything but the items Zilla had grabbed from the common room below. It seems she was really innocent. Doron and Theo look at each other warily, but Theo breaks out in a laugh. "So this is it, I guess." Doron whips out the hand blaster, aiming it at Theo. "It's time for you to die!" He pulls the trigger, but at the same time Theo pulls out a wand and waves it in the direction of the blaster. It disappears from Doron's hand, who looks down at it dumbfounded. He quickly recovers, however, reaching behind him to draw out a shortsword. "I am the heir to the throne of Ealuard, and I will vanquish you with my blade! Prepare yourself!" Prince Doron rushes towards Theo with a violent yell, but Theo just smiles and flicks his wand again. The sword turns into a large eagle feather, and Doron is once again unarmed. "Are you going to kill me, then? If you try, I will kill you!" Doron's face fills with anger as he stares down the sorceror. Theo's smile doesn't waver as he replies with some amusement in his voice. "No, I won't kill you. There are easier ways to rid myself of you." He flicks his wand a third time, and where Prince Doron Mackendoerfer once stood is a very angry ferret. "I think I might keep you, haha...I've always wanted a prince for a pet." Theo Faast grabs the ferret as it tries to escape, and he strolls out of the building, the last survivor of that fateful group of travelers.

Your name is Zilla Baldwin. Your story begins in a ruined city, where you discover the ancient remains of a temple of your religion. As you enter to pay your respects, a feeling of peace and enlightenment comes over you, more than anything you've felt before. You leave as a new person, and you take up the life of a monk. As you live this life, you discover that you have gained a particular...affinity...for certain holy items. In fact, you've discovered that you can combine magical items with mundane objects to increase their power. You travel around as a collector, finding items that can be used for this process. Unfortunately, one such endeavor left both your legs useless, so you spend your life as a cripple, using your arm stength to move around on crutches. You've taken up traveling with groups of people that you hope will find items for you.

Synopsis: The crippled Monk with a peculiar affinity for magical items.

If you manage to collect multiple items, you can combine them together to increase their abilities, if they have any.
You are Deshaun Dunkle. You joined the military at a young age, excelling as a field medic. You left behind a pretty young wife when you left, having become newlywed. However, the gruesome scenes you remember haunt you, and you've experienced violent flashbacks of what you witnessed. After returning from your tour of duty, you wanted to surprise your wife by not telling her you had returned. You went and bought her a beautiful necklace, and you sneaked into the back of your house to surprise her. Unfortunately, you stumbled upon her having sex with another man on your couch! She expected you to die over there, so she hadn't bothered to file for divorce. You're too shell-shocked from your discovery to divorce her yet, so you live separately and she continues seeing other men. Now that you're back home, you've taken up a job at the local hospital, working with people who've been placed on life-support. Your future looks dull and painful, but at least you can help other people live happy lives.

Synopsis: The broken-hearted life support technician haunted by flashbacks.

Each night, you may administer medical care to another character. If they would die that night, you save them from death.
You are Gabby Knisely, from the planet Lavone. Your people have developed a horrible disease that they cannot cure, and you were sent to find someone to help you. You are Zacharias Lord, a monster scientist. Unfortunately, you don't get much work done, because you are too pacifistic to harm any animals. So most of your work is done on cadavers, and you try to bring them back to life. That can't be done, of course, so you build robots to fake your work. Your assistant, Gloria Berkheimer, hasn't figured out yet that you are faking it, you think. You don't talk to her much, though, because you have to keep her out of most of the work. She just procures materials for you and keeps prying eyes away while you pretend to research monster creation.

Synopsis: The gentle monster scientist who is a complete fraud.

Each night, you can create a new "monster". You have the following the choose from: Trorrow the Cavern dweller, Gigadrobium the Desert fiend, Dros the Swamp monster, Ryder the cave zombie, and Dewat the Sewer dweller.

You may not talk to your assistant, nor do you know her alignment.


You win when all anti-party factions have been eliminated.



Mod Notes: If used, Trorrow will protect the holder in his cave (but he will die if attacked), Gigadrobium will kill for them (but he will die of overload afterwards), Dros will get them lost in the Swamp and roleblock them, Ryder will turn them into a zombie (no abilities, no vote, no revealed alignment, but can't be killed), and Dewat will track someone for them, but they get lost and are removed from the game for the next day
Your name is Norton Fylbrigg. Despite having a promising business career in your early adulthood, you gave it up as being too selfish and took odd jobs here and there, looking for something that would fulfill you. Most of your jobs were in the service industry, because what could be more fulfilling than helping other people? The industry has taken its toll on you, however. You've become a bit unreliable for jobs that require a stable mind. Your current employer has you working as a rat-catcher, actually. Will these recent developments give you the purpose you've been searching for? Who knows, but there are some mighty big rats running around at night, so you'd better do your job!

Synopsis: The delusional rat-catcher who is seeking meaning in life.

Each night, you can catch someone and keep them in a cage overnight, preventing them from going anywhere or being bothered by anyone else.

You win when all anti-party factions have been eliminated.
You are Gloria Berkheimer, assistant to the great monster scientist, Zacharias Lord. Growing up as a young girl, you were rejected by possible suitors as too boring. You couldn't find a job or apprenticeship either, until you met Zacharias. You do various chores for him, but he won't let you get involved with his actual work, despite the fact that you have a natural talent for surgery and can even communicate with animals on a basic level. For some reason, though, you've never been able to talk to one of Lord's creations. Either way, it doesn't matter, because you've had enough. You've teamed up with Theo Faast (WeyounsLastClone) to make sure that the evil people around you are defeated. You just can't trust any of them anymore.

Synopsis: The strong, boring, disloyal assistant with uncanny abilities.

Each night you and WeyounsLastClone can choose someone to kill together. Only one of you can actually perform the kill, so you have to let me know who will do it.

Note: You cannot speak to Zacharias Lord in private, because he does not let you approach him while he's working.

You win when you and Theo Faast control the group.
You are Doron Mackendoerfer, heir to the throne of Ealuard. You are a nimble fighter, skilled in archery and swordcraft. Your country is currently in the hands of your uncle, Donovan, who claimed the throne after the disappearance of your parents. You fear that he will try to have you killed to give his own children a chance at the throne, so you have become very paranoid of anyone you meet. To others you seem quite insane, but is it really true, or is it a face you show them to fool your audience?

Synopsis: The nimble, paranoid heir who seems insane.

If anyone attempts to approach you at night, you will kill them automatically in defense of yourself.

You are Autumn Bauerle, a magical girl. Your story begins in a sleazy motel, where you first have sex with a man twice your age. You weren't very good at it, but he didn't care. It was your age that turned him on. You couldn't get enough of that feeling of a man pounding inside of you, and you go out of your way to find people to sleep with. You're an outrageous flirt, but you have no real friends, because everyone looks down at you as the town slut. Still, you've found a niche in being hired to "entertain" people at night.

Synopsis: The inept, promiscuous, alienated magical girl.

At night, you can approach another character and have sex with them. The effects of this action are unknown.


Mod Notes: Sex with SK converts him to a vig, Sex with Doctor forms a lover group (masons that become an vig if their lover is killed)
You are Eldred Hurst. You were a rich, spendthrift merchant who owned a ship with your friend Selwyn Peters in the small village of Kasatka, until a group of bandits came and took over your village. You tried to speak out against them, but you were considered a threat for standing up to them, so they threw you out of the village and burned your shop. without a place to go back to, you and Theo took to less...agreeable professions, such as graverobbing. Unfortunately, a bad job landed Selwyn in jail and you on the run for your life, and you haven't seen him again. Since then, you have spent your time searching for your friend everywhere.

Synopsis: The spendthrift, vocal tomb-robber searching for a lost friend.

Each night, you can look for your friend Selwyn. You can approach another character and find out if it is them. If you find them, you will be able to talk at night.



Mod Notes: Searching for Theo Faast, the Sorceror
You are Hiram Buehler. You're a space fighter pilot, one of the best known mercenaries in the galaxy. You're very popular with the ladies, and the news teams give you a lot of fame and glory. Well, at least, you *were* popular. You fell in love, but the government wouldn't let you have children. Overpopulation, they said. You defied them, and they killed your fiance in cold blood. So now you've decided to get back at them by killing their citizens one at a time until their "overpopulation" no longer exists. You'll make them pay by any means necessary!

Synopsis: The tough, extraverted space fighter fighting against a culture that won't allow him to reproduce.

Each night, you can kill one other character.

You win when everyone else has been eliminated.
You are Theo Faast. You used to be...uhhh...what was the name again?...uhh, Selwyn...uhhh...anyway, you were a merchant in the village of...uhh...something..., where you shared a shop with...uh...a friend. Some bandits came and drove you out of the village, where you took to graverobbing to make ends meet. Unfortunately, you were caught by a group called the..uhh...the...Organization, who offered you a choice. Get turned over to the authorities or join them. Being an opportunistic person, you chose to work for the..,oh yeah, the Voichek Organization, changing your name to Theo Faast. They taught you to be a Sorceror, and you became one of the strongest in their employ. On the way, though, you had to make a lot of tough decisions, and you did a lot of dispicable things. The...uhhh...Organization finally had enough of your antics, and they put a price out on your head. So here you are on the run, and you joined a party of people traveling across the country. You've managed to twist the emotions of a young Scientist's assistant, Gloria Berkheimer (Albert B. Rampage), convincing her to help you kill off the rest of the group. She, of course, thinks she is just getting rid of those who have hurt her.

Synopsis: The forgetful, immoral Sorceror who belonged to a secret organization.

Each night, you and Gloria Berkheimer can choose someone to kill. You must pick who performs the kill, as well. As a Sorceror, you also have the ability to create objects, which you will leave in the middle of the camp each night, with a nasty surprise attached to them. You can choose from the following items: a Royal Scepter, a hand blaster, a dragon broach, a fancy cloak, and a rope of infinite length.



Mod Notes: The scepter gives the Heir a King power for a day, but everyone else who has it loses their vote because they are too busy caressing it. The hand blaster can be fixed and used by the space fighter, but everyone else who uses it will have it backfire and knock them out for a day and night, while they can still be lynched or killed. The dragon broach will cure the sick alien, but everyone else will slowly turn into a dragon over 2 nights. The fancy cloak will make the tomb-robber invisible (hider), but everyone else will become vain and ridiculous looking (PR). The rope will allow the mason to retrace his steps and visit two people a night, but everyone else will get tangled up in its immense length and be unable to act that night.
