I did not target a lurker...well not one under lurker suspicion anyway.
I targeted someone who was in the previous game, and up to no good, at that.

Any particular reason for suspsicions on this person (I wont mention names either)

Phoebus reminded me that in the last game, and probably this one, the mafia were able to communicate with each other during the day in order to coordinate thier attacks.

Also, there is some doubt about you now phoebus. You promised a kill and did not deliver, for whatever reason.

Well, huh.

I'm going to go ahead and say we do NOT have a Doc (at least thats how I feel) - Rogue was, to me, the obvious choice to protect to keep just this situation from happening.

So, with that, I really dont think Phoebius's target (whomever it is I wasn't in the first game and I do not see how quasi-crumbing helps) was protected from the kill.

With the broken link in the chain (assuming OGML actually tracked Rogue and didn't do someone else) we managed to pull no real information.

I see, so far, two scenarios:

1.) Everyone is telling the truth and Phoebius was roleblocked.
2.) Phoebius is scum and killed Rogue who would have seen his target be the only death for the night.

Regardless, I have a feeling we are losing another power role tonight so we better make it work today.

My questions for the veteran players:

1.) In this setup, would a recruiter and a roleblocker be a "normal" setup for mafia?
2.) With this many players AND a recruiter, what do you think the chances are we have 3 mafia to deal with?

I tracked Eek to Rogue, which still tells us nothing new.

Gotta think about things in this game a bit. Phoebus might be the play.

My scales are weighted a little in favor of Eek actually being the cop, but that does bring up a few questions. Of course I'm not saying kill Eek since scum cant let a real cop live much longer anywho.

Depends on the mod in terms of whether a maf power role will be able to use their power and perform a kill on the same night.

I tracked eek because I was highly suspicious of farside, and if both trackers were town I didn't think a third town info role was very likely.

The death of rogue, something I wasn't expecting, could easily be to cover for the fact that phoebus' claim may have been fake. Without rogue's tracking results we don't really know.

Like I said, gotta think about this one.

If things were going according to plan, then OGML was to track Rogue, who would track me.

The link has been broken...OGML can claim to have tracked Rogue to me - Rogue cannot confirm whom I tracked.

Would OGML like to say that he tracked my instead and therefore knows whom I targeted?

I am uncomfortable with this broken link in the chain and my kill not going through.
I can assume that:
If OGML is town, the link was deliberately severed to cause confusion.

I have three suspicions for why my target did not die.

1) They were protected - unlikely since they are not making substantial contributions.
2) They have protection ... which would be interesting.
3) They have immunity - which sounds bad for town, as far as I'm concerned ...

or 4) - you got role blocked last night

but my question is this. Does this mean you lost your shot, or you can make another attempt?

let me put this out there.

Phoebus hinted who he targeted, and it is really easy to find out who he allegedly targeted if you read the end of the last SSW game.

and we havent heard much from that person anyway.

so Ill cut to the chase and ask

JENTER: what are your thoughts on being targetted by Phoebus for a kill?

I'm not sure how people are on this site, but if you have a one shot or once per game ability that doesn't happen do to being blocked or doc protected does that mean you used your ability?
I ask because a mod I know on another site will still allow you to have your one shot if it was blocked, but not if the person was protected.

See, I hadn't had a chance to read that game all the way through yet. I'd be surprised if I was the only one.

Who he shot would have to come out - in fact, wrapping it in riddles or whatever you want to call it (making it easier to see) does NOT help the town. If anything it just gives him longer to think up a way out of it.

We are the uninformed majority - it is our purpose to do everything in our power to inform ourselves to deal with the menace. Phoebius is not doing that.

That couple with the fact that Phoebius would have been in a situation where killing Rogue versus going after the cop (which is what I would think scum not in that position would have done) makes me think its scummy.
