So, we go into "deadline" mode after 11:00 PM tonight, is that correct?

I see Andy as more suspicious than eldarad. I don't agree with his logic, but I can see where it comes from. On the other hand, Andy did mostly nothing this game but hammering two innocents with no real reason that we know of, plus, RS gave me the feel like he thought eldarad had an innocent on him, while being interested in an Andy lynch. Maybe he got one of those stones too and a guilty on Andy?

I forgot: I'm not sure exactly what time will it be here when deadline strikes, so I'm posting now, and hopefully in less than 24 hours. That way I'll be sure to hit the day with a post.

I'd appreciate it if some one would post the thread's time somewhere, so I could compare it with my time zone.

Assuming 3 mafiosi, every single town player needs to post to avoid the no lynch thing, if the mafia choose to lurk. I know that I'll probably lose internet access for a day, or forget, so I really don't want to rely on the deadline shenanigans.

"Maybe it was a cow," Andycyca suggests, but Hasdgfas stares at him and gives a cold little laugh.

"Now they've done it," Skruffs says, glancing in Guardian's direction. "As if werewolves weren't enough, we've got Nibblonians after us. And you know what they do to defectors."

Skruffs and Hasdgfas huddle together and sort of drag Andycyca in. They all stare at Guardian until it starts to get disturbing.

Hasdgfas and Skruffs keep staring and clutching at Andycyca (who's looking at Zindaras instead). Zindaras tries, "They'll probably be around the dock, at least until the boat leaves. I don't remember when that is, but I'm pretty sure we have a bit of time still. Let's hurry up with lynching someone and then you can all hide, okay?"

Deadline. As soon as an 11:00 pm (Eastern) hits in which fewer than 5 players have posted in the previous 24 hours, the game will go to night.

At this point, the logical part of my brain is telling me that the most likely scenerio is that Eldred is more or less telling the truth about what items he got and what they do, but that he's probably scum anyway. He said he'd be able to post in about 48 hours, which would be Saturday night. If enough people are going to be around to let us extend the deadline that long, I'd like to give him one more chance to defend himself. I plan to vote for someone on Sunday, though.

I am voting for eldarad because Yosarian2 is convincing, and eldarad hasn't provided a defense explaining his actions. His not claiming the innocent item thing is not something I'd imagine a pro-town player doing.

Yeah, a NL wouldn't be disastors today. I do think, though, that someone or something has probably prevented the scum from killing a couple of times (I don't know if it's items or a role or something); and so I would rather lynch in the hopes that at some point another kill will be prevented and then we'll get an extra lynch.

I think we should probably all item-claim, right now, in the case that they are. MAfia, three people, two nightkills, means that not lynching them today (with the possibbility of stacked items) could put the town at 3:3, instant scum win.

This is just my opinion, but I feel like the item discussion is distracting us away from scumhunting. Items probably don't tell us anything about the alignment of a player, and unless someone has an item that helped them find scum (good job Eld for the whole RS thing) then I think we should ignore the items and just scumhunt the old-fashioned way. Panic in the streets only helps scum.
