Well, of course he has, otherwise it would have been dropped. That dosn't change any of what I said.

(shrug) I don't know. People have been banned from GD comments that were precieved as racist in the past, and I would imagine that banning someone for extremely homophobic comments wouldn't be beyond question.

"No, no, you don't get to choose your own title. No, Zoneace didn't choose that title for himself, we gave it to him. Oh, no, you don't understand; it's ok if WE call HIM a faggot because he's gay. Get it? Oh, and btw, if you call someone a faggot in GD, we'll ban you. "
Yuck.
As for my title...eh, I've got no problem with something about agreeing with Yosarian being there, if someone can come up with a good joke for it. That's your guys jobs, though, I'm not going to suggest a title for myself.
if you weren't completely wrong on EVERY LEVEL I might agree with you.
I think you guys are missing the point that to ZONEACE it's not a bug it's a feature. The idea of being able to piss people off without even having to post must be tantilizing.

(sigh) I do not endorce that product and/or service...
And I wasn't necessarally saying that you'd get banned for doing that once, but anything that can be precieved as extreme homophobic hate speach is probably a bannable offense, especally if repeated.
(And for the love of God, PLEASE do not test that.)
I mean, it's clearly a phrase that Mith dislikes strongly enough to deleate the whole thread pretty much instantly. If some newb started using it all over the place, I doubt he would last long. Therefore, we shouldn't be encouraging newbs to think that kind of behavior is acceptable around here by putting it (even in "quasi-censored" form) into people's title's.

I still think "there's no F in fairy" is clever, is a nice add on to his current title, and isn't really offensive at all.
Only problem is both suggestions are tied to ZONEACE by his current title; get rid of that title (to replace it with one of the new suggestions) and the newbies will be even more confused, and I figure as long as we're confusing newbies, we might as well be offending them too.
jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont
jdodge1019: vermont is made of liberal freaks and cows
jdodge1019: he's not a liberal
jdodge1019: thus he is a cow

It's only censored for people who are clueless.
It seems to me like a title that just asking for Zoneace 2.0 to show up as a newbie, look at the title, think Zoneace is a homophobe and start getting violent with him. Maybe I'm wrong.
dahill's is rejected unless it starts showing up on Mafia Scum: in my opinion scumchat jokes aren't good titles. (See Zoneace's reaction to the comment, for example.) Use this as an excuse to bagel dahill in mafia games.
Words like Sh*t, F*ck, C*nt, *ss, and C*ck are all only censored for clueless people, too, yet the more...sensitive members of this community seem to generally think it's an appropriate measure of censorship. Why should this be any different?

Bolding mine.
a. I'd like to see evidence that they think this is an acceptable measure of censorship.
b. Are they using these versions commonly, or just in threads where they are discussing profanity and need to come up with some version of the word so that people know what they are talking about? Context matters.
I replaced into Chess Mafia for 6 months, and all I got was a win and this lousy sig.
As another aside, how is recogizing what someone said in one game any different than recognizing what someone said in scumchat? I honestly do not know why 90% of the people have their titles because they are all terrible obscure references. 9-10 people get the joke for any given title, which is about the same amount who would "get it" for any scumchat related title.
