Dizzy, what do you think of Lowell now that he's unvoted you? What do you think of Skruffs?
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

1. Lowell is still scum. The removal of the vote proves nothing except that he's realised a strategy isn't working.

2. Skruffs... Skruffs is mildly suspicious in the sense that he's currently driving the debate, but someone has to so it's not necessarily scum controlling the actions of the town. I'd say he's most likely town given that he seems to be productive and useful. But meh, I'm very often wrong on such things.

. Did we try this already? In isolation his posts look terrible, and he's showing up just enough to not get replaced. In a game like this (aka townies eating each other like idiots) that seems awfully scummy to me.
This is Lowell conceeding his game as scum, because that is exactly how he has played the entire frekking game.

Sure CKD's post was suggestively bad, but Lowell's was so terrible it redeemed CKD's and at the same time, destoryed his so much that I actually will bomb his house at one stage.

If you have a problem with my modding, PM me with it first. Thank you. You will get a vote count tomorrow after I am done working the 3rd 7 and a half hour shift in 4 days.

In the meantime, you may direct all complaints to my PM box instead of cluttering up the thread with them - don't make me break out the no-spam rule on you.

I dislike the mix of "Gmae theory/replacements." and "Watch me play mafia and lynch people".

I prefer to keep ((OOC)) and In character seperate.

I don't really know about skruffs, i fluctuate town/scum on him. But, in all seriousness, CKD, I really don't care about him. We need to lynch izzy or Lowell today.

I'm still vaguely in favour of the vig claiming so we can improve our chances of hitting scum today and yell at the vig for being so useless at scum-killing, for the record. I mean, if he/she/it managed to keep that up, don't we lose even if we kill scum today?

Well, I take that back, I just don't understand why you think getting hte vig to claim (And then dying, completely eliminating his chances of helping town) would help us in the long run; it would reduce a random lynch to 5/9, slightly over 50% , but we dont need to random lynch. Lowell is scum, you agree he is scum, there is NO REASON to be trying to find out who the vig is.

dizzy, please explain how this helps us out at all. I can think of no town reason to have the vig claim right now.

A vig claim mathematically increases our odds of lynching correctly at a point where we *have* to lynch correctly. Multiple claims give us new information from which we can base lynches. Sure, it'd ensure the vig gets night killed, but hey... a town aligned player will die tonight regardless, and if we lynch scum we can still lose if the Vig manages to continue playing Serial Killer.

I guess my vision of how to approach LYLO is different from yours. In my mind, playing the long game harms our ability to deal with the immediate problem of ensuring there is a tomorrow. It's not good playing the long game when the vig can kill town tonight and lose the game for us.

So, I guess it's fair to say that a fair bit of my reasoning is that the Vig has done a sucky job as vig so far, and I see no reason why he/she/it would change it's townie killing ways tonight, especially when doing so loses the game for us.
