Check out Mini #499. From day 1 to the end of the game I was sold on BM. I thought he was scum and I made sure everyone knew. I didn't let up and took it to my grave. I was town in that game as well.
The case isn't on that. The case is supplying little to the game.
Everyone knew Zeek was as scummy as hell, but everyone else thought outside the box and checked other people out. Last day all you checked was zeek (and a very little bit of MSH). You contributed little apart from what other people said.
And the fact that lowell was your predecessor doesn't really help. I know I'm not one to talk, because soupfly sucked almost as much, but we still cannot ignore previous actions, which included but were not limited to, lurking, evading questions and voting without reasons.

So do I. Zeek was extremely frustrating, playing poorly himself and drawing out poor play from others (at the very least myself), but for much of day two I didn't think he was scummy. This is borne out if you look at my posts.

I hate the "I have a scummy meta" defense, shaka, because its not a defense at all, rather its an excuse. You can't explain your play in any other way than pointing to a game where you played poorly? Not buying it.

I can explain my play very easily. I thought Zeek was scum.
@Zeek was scummy comment: I didn't mean that he was scum, I meant that his play was scummy. I didn't think zeek was scum either, but I still think that his play was scummy. If someone else played like he did, especially if I had a good meta on them, I would vote them for it, but being zeek, it was unfortunately a zeek-tell.

Okay, my thoughts on day 3. Since shaka is at L-2, I'll start by posting my thoughts on him.
In day 3, the only player he's gone for is geraintm. I can't see this as distancing. Shaka's single minded attack on geraintm wouldn't make much sense if they're both scum. If Shaka's scum, why go for geraintm? There are easier people to go for. As it is, no one has voted for geraintm, he just doesn't look scummy enough to warrant a vote. Basically, I can't see his actions as making sense if he's scum.

Something I found odd is how when Shaka voted geraintm, TSPN and OGML told Shaka to unvote. However, way before Shaka voted geraintm, BM had voted for shaka, but those two never told him to unvote. I'm still chewing on what to make of that.

Something I don't like is OGML's vote switch. As day 3 started, he mentioned that his top suspect was soup/fae, and that the other two were either BM, geraintm, or myself. Recently though, he's suddenly switched his vote to shaka - someone who he's never mentioned suspicions on when day 3 began. He mentions the reason for his switch as fae reminding him how scummy lowell was, but it just doesn't feel right.

I don't remember if you had replaced in or not yet when I was going on about lowell on day two, but if not go back and look at it. I seriously wanted to lynch him, but he was a hard sell because he was extremely lurky and others were very loud and noticeable. When he got replaced, I kept my vote on shaka for a while but eventually realized it wasn't going anywhere and fell in line with the rest of the town. I got complacent when I shouldn't have.
Well, I'm happy with a shaka deadline lynch, which should be obvious from the fact that I'm voting for him. Is anybody else interested enough in this game to get in here in the next 24 hours and say, well, anything?
Yes, I remember that you were pushing for a lowell lynch. Why didn't you bring it up day 3 though? If anything, it looks like you're wagon hopping unto the people with suspicions on them.
It seems a shaka lynch is inevitable, but I'm not too sure with it. I see your point that he was just gunning zeek when he got in, and that lowell was scummy, but I don't understand why he's going for geraintm now.
The best explanation I see for shaka's actions today is that he thought gerain would be the easiest target for the day, and he's obviously shown that he's very good at tunnel visioning people so that would be why he hasn't changed his opinion whatsoever. When shaka cardflips scum, I'll most likely be dropping gerain off of my suspicion list based on that.
PS, high five geraintm for being the only other remaining non-replacement in this game.
i still have no real idea who is scum in this game. at least when zeek was around there was plenty of meat to chew, now trying to pick our way through scraps
shaka never followed up his "i'll respond to geraintm" on the 24th, and as shaka was really the only person i have dealt with at all today, i find myself in limbo, nothing to talk about.
Geraintm has no votes. Soup/Fae's been voted for. His reaction to an attack, was defensive, yes, but I can't remember anyone being suspicious of him day 2 at all. Coming into day 3, I'd say the most suspicious was soup/fae, something even soup himself admitted.
