Snix:What were you trying to accomplish by asking who Ecto would investigate?

neko:If you figured out that Yvonne/ecto was the cop around/before the time I did, why didn't you vote for him then?

I was essentially trying to figure out how suspicious he was of me. Bad way to do it, I know, but I didn't think it would hurt.

The question is, what now?

The whole idea of the cop, which Yvonne is learning the hard way in this game, is that you don't act brashly act on discoveries. As cop, Yvonne should have created a case around thAdmiral that could look like any townie could have figured it out. As townies who figure out what the f Yvonne is trying to accomplish, we shouldn't just jump on the wagon for no reason either. That is the equivalent of a cop-claim, which ecto was forced to do.

I have to go, but I'll have more to say later.

To answer Snix, now we keep people talking until we know who the third scum is. In the meantime, we get Dizzy to talk as much as possible.

I say, Xtomx - are you being brief on purpose or is this just the way you go about your business usually?

But that's about it. He also attacked Dizzy, along with basically everyone else, so that doesn't tell us much. I'll have to check everyone else's posts for connections to him.

I agree with neko. Yvonne was attacking ThAdmiral way too much on Day One. As a cop, it's better to stay low, until you can find something about the guilty suspect that is scummy and grow off of that. Yvonne was attacking ThAdmiral from the get-go (during the random voting stages). Then she gets angry at all the town because we suspect that the way she acted was suspicious, which it was. Either way, if we voted Yvonne or ThAdmiral, town would've lost a cop and gotten rid of a mafia. Cop shouldn't be making a show of themselves, especially when they're the only power role in the game.

Now we're in a mountainous-type setup. With 2 mafia and 8 town. The only real thing that's different is Day One.

Looking back, I believe that some (or all) the mafia jumped on the Yvonne wagon, since townies were getting suspicious of her and she was attacking their fellow scumbuddy ThAdmiral. There were many votes on Yvonne that were easily overlooked and it would've been easy, as mafia, to jump on the Yvonne wagon without looking too suspicious.

I jumped on the Yvonne wagon, but I had a good reason for it.

I myself think Snix would be a good D3 lynch (at the moment, but things can change).

Yvonne's strategy was flawed, yes, in that she was only able to draw out one scum-buddy rather than two. In the best-case scenario, she would have kept incognito until the whole scumteam was investigated/made themselves apparent.

If you're not scum, though, you'll want to help us find the real scum.

Well. I would be fine with a trade off between one scum and a cop, if I was confident that the town can pick off the last two scum in successful lynches. But seeing as how town almost lynched the cop day 1, I would much rather the cop, like neko said, had stayed hidden until she got a second guilty investigation.

Just my opinion. (I include myself as part of the "town that almost lynched the cop")

Like I said, I wouldn't mind a Dizzy lynch, but Xtoxm brings up a good point, since I also believe in the possibility of Dizzy being a misguided town who made a wrong judgment on Yvonne. Snix seems like a better lynch IMO. Snix and I handled the Yvonne case in roughly the same way, giving arguments on why we think she was mafia and also supporting a Yvonne LYNCH rather than a replacement, making us both look really bad. So my vote may make me look like a hypocrite, but I believe Snix is scum.

LET'S LYNCH THEM! Excellent work. Dizzy will be on board with you on this one I think. Seriously though, perfect is replacing near, who was somewhat suspect yesterday, but shadow is replacing jester, who, I think, is one of the least suspect players.
At least with the Yvonne/Ecto wagon, there was scummy play by Yvonne that merited some pressure. I'd like you to tell me why Shadow and perfect are good targets.

I don't know about the others, but I know you thought I was scum yesterday. What changed your mind? I think Dizzy was trying to fish subtly and got caught, then was forced to stick to her position, maybe. Regardless of alignment it was a pretty bad play, but I think she is likely scum. James- if you and Snix basically did the same thing, and you hypothetically know you're town, couldn't a townie make the same mistake? Not that I have that opinion, but still.
