Flay has kindly unlocked the thread (as I do not yet have backup mod powers, and am unlikely to receive them by the end of the night).

However, the game is still in night. Please refrain from posting until the day scene.

EBWOP: To get on track with who's here and to clear up any confusion I have with night actions, I'd appreciate everyone sending me a PM to let me know if you're here, regardless of any night actions you have. Sorry for the extra hassle, but it'd help a bunch.

Right. The following people have checked in:

The Hermit, Cephrir, Hjallti, Cyberbob, Tarhalindur, angelmouse

Leaving the following people to whom I'm searching a replacement for:

pickemgenius, TrustGossip

I'd like to have everyone here before resolving night actions, for obvious reasons.

OK, pickem has checked in. I have a feeling Trust isn't here, so I'll search for a replacement and I'll end the night two days from now, or earlier if I find one.

Quick question:

Why do you think PEG was killed? Considering his tunnel vision on angelmouse, I see only two logical reasons: it was because someone wanted to put suspicion on am, or because he was onto something. Which of these do you think is more likely?

Unnnhhh. I was the only one trying to hold off on lynching CFK until a replacement was found. Everyone else was baying for his blood whether he was present or not, so try harder.

Cyberbob wrote:I like the Greasy Spot wagon. His recent posts have been extremely poor play, at best, and his claim to have caught every single scum in the game is... laughable. If he wasn't at L-1 I'd vote him.
FOS: Greasy Spot
This was said as it was becoming very obvious that Greasy was going to be lynched. I smell bussing here. Add to that the fact that CB didn't check in again all through the discussion of whether L-1 was a good place for greasy to be or his terrible claim, and I think we've got a scumbuddy who was hoping the storm on his pal would blow over but didn't want to seem like he had totally ignored the case.

I do remind you that, when Cyber said this, Greasy was at L-1 and had yet to claim. No townie in his right mind would have voted in those circumstances (no scum would either, but that just makes the whole episode a null tell). I don't find it odd in the slightest that someone might give a target warning before dropping the hammer to try and coax a roleclaim out of him, especially given how quickly that bandwagon formed. Sooooo yeah. Your logic is full of holes, and I'm not voting Cyberbob if this is the best you've got.

The lynch of CFK was a goddamn tragedy. Seriously, town, what the hell were you thinking? CFK was inactive and unable to defend himself, and the votes kept piling up. Well, now look, our doctor's dead. Idiots. You're all idiots. Shut up idiots. Cyber was one of the only people who acted reasonably; he only hammered when it became obvious that a defense was not forthcoming and the mod refused to hold back the deadline to search for a replacement (bad mod! No biscuit!).

Big Honkin' FOS: OGML and Cephrir
, for being the major force behind this mislynch in spite of the target being stated inactive and unable to offer any defense. It's almost certain that one or both of you is scum. That "Yay" by Cephrir at the top of the page is not helping his case any, so for the moment I will
Vote: Cephrir
.

Bandwaggoning someone to a claim is not unreasonable. It's not our fault he wasn't here to give it. He was pretty scummy; would you expect us not to vote him because he was absent...?

What would you have done in that situation?
