TECHNICALLY: we can get out of a Lylo today, but I'm not risking our lives on a survivor getting shot like that.

(Also, Oman - you shouldn't bait the vig. I did it in Pirates vs Ninjas and it didn't work. And the vig KNOWS you aren't pro-twon, so, you just gave him a way to beat that solution.)

I'm not taunting him. Mini 500 Cult mafia I was the vig and hit town every night. And I certainly didn't trust myself to get lucky at any stage.

Crunch the numbers, viging me is not the optimal play in any case.

This question is still dumb. Even if I were scum, I still wouldn't know the day started until the mod posted something. So, again, I don't get the question.

dammit, I had a long post (thought I caught you being scum) until I actually went to read the PM again. I was prodded by the Mod (that is who I found out the game had started again). For some reason I didnt think it was a prod, but a PM letting me know the game had started...but after checking it again to be sure, I fould it was indeed a prod sent 04/10, after the day had started. In that prod, was mention that we were at Lylo...I thought your "lack" of knowledge was because you didnt receive the notice...(meaning???)...but it was only a prod and not a notice.

at any rate, it doesnt mean anything...I guess the question is dumb

So, my thinking at the moment is that we shoudl try and help ourselves as much as possible, and that means narrowing down the potential lynchees. Since Oman has claimed suvivor and nobody has, as yet, counter-claimed him, if we assume he's making a genuine claim, then we've got 10 people to choose from, and our odds of hitting scum to survive lylo are 50-50. However... if we know who the vig is, we get to choose from 9 people - 4 town, 5 scum. Those are better odds for us, right? Since the scum will kill a town aligned role tonight anyway, and the vig has been coming up town every time he's tried to NK, the fact that the vig will most likely die tonight probably isn't as much of an issue, since right now we NEED to come up with scum today. That happens, we survive to tomorrow, and if we finally have a scum identified, we can use the 56 pages of evidence to finally hit the spot more frequently.

I mean, the town is facing almost certain defeat since we have to hit scum 5 times in a row to win, realistically... so is it worth it?

I'll be honest. I'm trying to win, of course, but I'd be happy to just kill 1 scum before we lose. I don't want to be against a shutout here.

Outing the Vig is a terrible idea (even if the vig has been, uh... bad), though I dont' think Diz is scummy for bringing it up (she seems genuine). Oman is not the lynch for obvious reasons, and I'm not the lynch for the same reasons I wasn't yesterday.
